A few weeks ago, I watched "The Outsiders" on the news. They profiled a man in Puerto Rico who thinks he's Jesus (Unfortunately, I forget his name). The strange part is, he also has hundreds of followers who believe him. Parents have even taught their children to worship this man. This "new Jesus" smokes cigarettes and drinks alcoholic beverages because he believes in "enjoying life." One young boy the reporter interviewed said that "[smoking and drinking] aren't bad, God does it." The man is also fairly wealthy due to all of the donations of his brainwashed followers. When asked if, as Jesus, it would be better to give the money to charity, he replied "Wouldn't it be an insult to the people who donated the money if I gave it away?" Oh, and where the real Jesus trekked to Jerusalem, this "messiah" is planning to come to Miami.
This man is gaining more devoted followers at almost every city he visits. I hope I don't sound paranoid, but this situation has the potential to become another Jonestown!

I know where this is leading to, and it's not good.
1 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep. — 2 Peter 2:1-3
Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. — Matthew 7:15
10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. — Matthew 24:10-11
Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. — 1 John 4
P.S. My apologies if this offended anyone on this board for what I posted above. It wasn't my intention to offend anyone here.
