Mind if I do a photograph for August instead of a drawing?

I am sorry for the delay. Work has a way of getting in the way of having fun. I started on the Dec pic last night. I really like how it is turning out. I was going to scan what I have so far but think I will wait till it is finished. Yes, I am a tease. LOL What is the deadline again? Also, a lot of the pics on the main page here are missing. Is there a way to see the links that aren't working? May, July and Nov. Rosa, what medium did you use on your piece? It looks like colored pencils. For the ones that I have been able to see, I think everyone is doing a great job for the calendar!

Ok i fixed two of those three broken links. I emailed Katrina Rix to see if she can send me her pic again. I lost the pic somehow.

I have finished my Tarbosaurus pic, yay! I also sent you a note at devART. But I wasn't sure which you would visit first. Anyway, here's the link to the finished piece: --> www.deviantart.com/deviation/42829609/

Nice picture Kada! There are different climates all over Dinotopia, so this could be a Christmas celebration on the Northern Planes where it rarely snows;) I have my entry completed too! I won't post the actual picture here because it will take a while to load. But, I will give a link. The pictures are HUGE because I made them large enough to fit on an 8.5x11 piece of paper when it's turned sideways. Now, there's some delima between which photo to choose. Do we want Az, or the Rex? Both photos have the same strong points and weaknesses, so I can't decide! I've already had one vote for Azzy and one for the REx. What do you guys think? T-Rex - Azzy Waterfall

Kada that is amazing! It reminds me of somewhere on Dinotopia but I can't figure out where LOL
Azzy those are cool! Pick either one it doesn't matter. You have a good eye for posing dinos.
Rember everyone! Deadine is December 13! I need your pics by then!

Azonthus, I like them both too. I do have a higher resolution of mine so if you need it I can upload it and you can download it for the printing. I only posted a smaller version here for viewing. Where? I have no idea! LOL I just made it all up in my head.

Kada, I just love your picture! It's AWESOME!!!!!!!!! What medium did you use? It looks like colored pencil to me, but I'm just guessing.
Az, both of your pictures are great! I love both of them, either one would do well.

Thanks, Kada! I love your piece, Kada. Very beautiful and love all the detail in it. Hey, Azonthus. I vote for the Azzy one. I love the waterfall in the background. Plus the whole picture catches my eye more than the T-Rex. The T-Rex one would be good for a calendar piccy as well, but I like the whole setting of the Azzy Waterfall one better.

Kada, your picture really is beautiful! I like the color choices you used for the dinos and the way the one dino is holding the human up by the britches so he can put the star on the tree is really cute! Keep up the good art. Azzy, I vote for the Azzy and the waterfall pic too. They are both great, but there's something about the waterfall and abundance of greenery that I especially like about that pic.
