Here I sit... The turkey's being thawed out on the countertop , the rest of the feast is prepared and in the fridge , the dogs are in the other room so they don't swipe the turkey ... Nothing yet on TV , the parade floats are being taken out of thier hangars , the sporting events are being readied to be played ... The family is still asleep , the inlaws are just landing at the airport , no phonecalls yet to wish a happy Thanksgiving ... Just another Thanksgiving in Mass... ;D How do you spend your thanksgiving? For those of other countries who don't celebrate thanksgiving, how will you spend your day? (How ever you spend it, I hope you have fun! LOL!) ;D Gobble, Gobble!

It's another day to me, though I do life in the usa, though I do try to go over the good things in my life. I"ll eat the same usual food I eat daily. I"ll also do my best to keep warm since a cold front blew in last night. Nice poem, I especially like the smilies used that you did in the various places you put them.

Heehee! Nice poem!
I'm sick, so I spent the whole day on the computer, making things for Subterranean Restorations and roleplaying. Yep. I have no life.
We used to go visit family, but we haven't gone out to see them in a few years. We're just eating dinner at home, organic free range turkey and all. (My mom made a point to show me just how much money the organic free range turkey was. I didn't need to have turkey...) Yeah. The reason we have a weird turkey is because I'm vegetarian with the exception that I'll eat free range meat. XP
We're also having sweet potato fries! I can't wait to see what those taste like... Mmmmm...

Sorry i couldn't tell everyone Happy Thanksgiving yesterday but i was cooking. I swear it is 2 days of cooking for maybe ten minutes of eating at my family dinner. Leftovers galore! I am just glad that, being the cook, i did not have to do any of the cleanup.
So, Happy Belated Thanksgivings everyone. Hope you had a good one even if you don't celebrate.

Hopefully that means you will not need to cook for a few days at least.

Yep, deffinantly a bunch of leftovers at our house, but not as much as I though there would be(food doesn't last very long when you've got brothers and grandparents in the house, even if the grandparents brought fruit salad, cookies, pies, and a bunch of other stuff ). We usually have my mom's parents over for Thanksgiving, or we just have it by ourselves, which is just as fine. The stuffing is my favorite part of the meal, coming in very close to the pumpkin pie. Mmmmmm... Happy late Thanksgiving to all (and a happy Thursday to all who don't celebrate Thanksgiving)!!!
