Hmmmmmmmmm........ Well, first off, Happy Birthday! And secondly... I guess you to be... Now, this is annoying, because I should know. I'll say 20. It seems like you're about three years younger than me, but I'm not really positive. Can I make a second guess? I say you're between 15 and 30!

Happy Hatchday! Um let's see...21? You seem older than that so I'm probably wrong. It's fun guessing anyway. ;D

Well, you mentioned college and you seem about my age, maybe a little older, so I'll go 19-24.

Okay, now I've got a few things to say here. And I'm not giving anything away, but a few of you are really close...
Actually, Azzy, if you remember, Vorchia set up my account since I didn't have an e-mail adress at the time, so she could only guess at my age. As for where your s'mores and bragging rights are, you don't have 'em yet...
I graduated High School early, 'cause I'm one of those geeky kids. I started college at age 16, believe it or not. So, y'all keep that in mind when you guess...

Cool, you graduated early too? I started college at age 17 and my younger sister who's a whiz started at 15. She'll be graduating with an associate of arts degree at the small college here next spring before moving to a bigger college to pursue vet school. I just think it's funny because most kids graduate from high school at 18 and she'll be graduating from her first college with a two year degree at that age. She's got a 4.0 grade average to top it off! For some reason I often feel like she's older than me. Alright, enough bragging about my sister for now. Can I guess again? How about 20?

Ok, your sister gets 4.0 marks on just about everything because she is unusually intelligent? May I ask what kind of scale you use to grade over there?? You make it sounds as if its really good, which, (no offense intended!), surprises me! If I get a 4.0 its a big fat F translated to the American system. I know how the American letter-grade system works and common percentage grading. In the Netherlands you just get a mark between 1 (F) and 10 (perfect) where 5.5 is the border mark. They do it precisely oppositely in Germany where the 10 is the lowest mark and the 1 the highest... You sound pretty American or Canedian but the only Americans and Canedians I have heard about school results always talked about letter or percentage grades...
If I had a 4.0 grade average (which I thankfully do NOT!!!) I would be kicked out of college!
I suck at guessing games! I tried guessing when Buttercup's son would be born and was about 3 weeks off, remember? I'll be mean and guess.... 40! *runs* jkjk!

Interesting... Is this specific for the state you live in or is this grading scale used in more states or is it specific for a type of school?

When I said 4.0, I had no idea anyone would misunderstand. 4.0 is the GPA (grade point average). That's how your grade is over everything. Now if you had that in a test in one of your classes, yeah it would be a fail. The overall grade point average is just done differently, I suppose. I've never thought to ask anyone why that is. My sister doesn't make her good grades just because she's highly intelligent. Everyone is intelligent. It's just that she works hard at what she does and she doesn't have a job right now that would take away from study time. Hmmm....maybe I didn't word that right. I'm not trying to say that she isn't intelligent..... what am I trying to say? Equal. We're all equal. Maybe that's it. Pooh. Maybe I've been staring at a computer screen for too long. Nothing's coming out like I want it to. I think I'll take a break.

The breakdown for the American GPA is a little like this
4.0 A perfect 3.0-3.99 B 2.0-2.99 C 1.0-1.99 D >1.0 Fail
Average is around 2.5 to 3.0 (that's where I sit) and it's kinda odd because to figgure it out you have to take your grade in the class, translate it in that scale multiply by the hours in that class then divide by the hours total (I know it seems redundant, it is). This is a purely american thing.
So, a GPA for a semester may look like
History 3 hrs 83 = 3.0 Science 4 hrs 71 = 2.0 Music 1 hr 100 = 4.0 English 3 hrs 84 = 3.0 Math 3 hrs 100 = 4.0
GPA is a 3.07 Wierd hunh?
