I updated the rules with a rule against making accounts solely to advertise. I also deleted a thread in the Star Wars RP forum started by someone who has an account but whose only post was to advertise a link. We're not a 'free advertisement' board. I don't mind links but only from actively posting members and in the Flight Forum, with all the other links. Besides a thread 'New Star Wars RP' in the Star Wars RP forum is just plain mean, it'd suggest the older 'Star Wars RP' thread was no longer active! And no, I don't WANT anyone being lured away!!!!!!!! ;D The person whose thread has gone can join the insanity at T of P by participating in board discussions then put the link in the Flight Forum. This is also to keep the confusion out of the RP forums. I try to keep the number of threads in the rp forums low so they are easy to navigate.

Hi... Does telling folks about a new fanfic count? How about the two books I already have published?

Oh of COURSE actively posting members like you can post links and brag about their books, proceed! ;-) The rule is solely to prevent abuse by people who don't really care anyway.
