Congrats=) College is majorly different from high school. I far prefer it. Then again, I am one who likes to set my own schedule, and college allows that. Best of luck to ya!

I usually have 15 credits per quarter, not counting the Spanish which is 'extra'. But I'm not sure if ours are equal to yours! And yes college is more fun then secondary school.

Congrats, I hope you enjoy it. I already started school 3 or 4 weeks ago already, and I've already been loaded down with homework, thanks to AP English...and I've had absolutely no time for the ToP, regretablly. Not only that, but the High School schedule isn't set up right for me to be able to take mandatory classes and the electives that I wanted...I'm looking forward to being able to pick my own schedule next year...

Good luck with the college, all of you! I'm in college too and it gets extremly busy when you're taking a full load, and working at the same time! Hang in there though, and don't forget to stop by here once in a while.

I know my college will eat a load of my time, soon. Class starts on the 26th But, there's not much I can do about it. I'm taking all advanced classes that are cramming 18 weeks of class into 6. However, I will graduate with my Masters in June, so it's really worth it. When I was working on my associates degrees, I took 18-22 credits a quarter. 22 was the max they allow. The university I go to now only allows 20, but I do about 12. Any more than 12 is just too hard considering how condensed the classes are!

Everyone takes 15 credits per quarter standard in my type of (Dutch) college simply because thats how it works over here. You choose what you want to study and the college offers a programme of classes, planned out and set. More credits CAN be managed but it would be just 'extra', not required stuff.
