Here's a pretty good idea for a story.
It's based on the Dinotopia TV series(Not the movie)
"PICKING UP THE PIECES"
Everyone is in the trading post tavern when a giant earthquake rocks the island. Damage is reported in various places around the epicenter - a mile out to sea from king Adolpho's castle, which is LaSage's hideout! It is destroyed completely, being practically swept out to sea, and most of the pirates are killed instantly; but a few survive and make thier way to the trading post (Quint and a few of the regulars, seven in all); but LaSage is among the missing. She shows up later, dazed, not critically injured and confused; but herpersonaliuty PERSONALITY is drastically altered, regressed back to when she was a little girl!
