~The uselessness of anger. ~
Of all the emotions mankind can experience, anger is of the most useless of passions; and like carrying a grudge, it is not worth one’s effort to carry around. This is an emotion that can be more harmful to the one having it than the one in whom it is directed to, for it can eat one up inside like a cancer; and soon all that will be left of him is his anger, and that man would be as useless to others as he will find he is of himself. Being angry is not productive, and only serves to prolong the pain of the thing that invoked the emotion; making the grief that was go on for an eternity, leaving nothing but desolation in it’s wake. The only way to counter anger is to come to grips with it, to resolve CONSTRUCTIVELY the problem that started it; and to strive to make the cause better, and to see that it never happens again. If something on your life makes you angry, do not stay that way for long; for things will get better if you see past it to the problem, then the resolution of the problem will make you feel all that much better!…

~True prosperity. ~
Prosperity does not necessarily mean that a person is rich or has all he needs in life, nor does it mean that one is better just because of the material things he has in life; for these things can come and go at a moment’s notice, and the reason for that type of prosperity would seem lost. It seems that the way to true prosperity lies in the friends one has and the loves one can realize, for therein lies true happiness that results in true happiness; and of good health and the health of one’s friends, those are the things to measure one’s true worth. It is not wise to measure one’s wealth by anything material, but by the camaraderie of good friends and good cheer; and those that do not are only fooling themselves, for theirs is a life of folly…

~All you have to do is ask!~
In life there are many questions that arise, things of everyday life and of problems great and small; but the only thing stopping us from understanding these things is the lack of a question, for without these all of life is a mystery. Some of us ask questions day and night, and yet they still do not understand; for even in their questions they are still confused, all because the answers they get are even more perplexing than their questions. It is said that a fool that asks a question is a fool for a mere moment, but a fool that does not ask a question is a fool forever; and all it takes to answer one’s question is to have the courage to ask it, and it doesn’t matter what the question is - be it a practical one or one of fantasy. Asking a question is the only way one can gain enlightenment from another, to uplift one’s spirit by another’s educated wisdom; for if indeed there is such wisdom that anybody has, this is the wisdom that should be asked for - for one should not be afraid to ask…

~ The serenity of enlightenment. ~
True sentient beings that seek knowledge and wisdom seek a common goal, one that includes the pursuit of enlightenment in their daily lives; and this true knowledge endows one with a sense of serenity when found, a peace of knowing all there is to know. They stand in calm surrender in the knowledge of what is, and accept this fact to be true; but those that seek continually higher knowledge and wisdom do not accept that this is all there is, and so they seek higher enlightenment as they sometimes achieve it over time. So to me I think it is best if we all refuse to accept the things that presently are the way they are, and continually seek higher goals; for only this way we will be able to achieve the ultimate enlightenment, and bask in it’s immaculate glow forever…

~Inner freedom. ~
Men talk about freedom and are willing to risk all for their freedom, but as everyone knows; all the talk and all that action does not necessarily guarantee their freedom. What it all boils down to is none of this really means a thing if one can not achieve true freedom, and that freedom that is truly worth having is inner freedom; a type of freedom that beings true happiness and blissful contentment, a thing that originates from the mind. Being free this way is a definite and deliberate exercise of choice, for to choose to be free one has to want to be free; and not think we are tied down with certain beliefs and restrictions, by morals or vices detrimental to his choice to be free. If we think we are slaves to a certain system or society, we are only fooling ourselves; for we are truly free if we unshackle our minds from material constraints, and learn to enjoy the freedom within ourselves…

~Realizing wisdom. ~
We go through life in a daze sometimes, just going about our business just like the day before; and the month previous to that and the year and decade that was, and sooner or later we begin to wonder if all this is worth it. We find no reward and we get no satisfaction, and worse of all we feel there is nothing left to learn in the world; but there is a true wisdom in realizing there is always a gift to obtain every day of your life, and one can always learn something from daily experience. If one realizes this, then there is truly a wisdom to be obtained every day; something that can help you grow in knowledge or skill, and things that may help you become wiser. There is also a wisdom in knowing that there is things you can give others, knowledge or advice or general help when they need it; and to respect their needs and wants and try to uphold their issues as they help support yours, a wise thing that helps strengthen friendships. Wisdom can be found in helping a society improve themselves, through policy suggestions or other public services; and the wisdom you can spread throughout the world benefits all mankind, which is probably the wisest wisdom of all…

~The shackles from without. ~
Most people allow the constraints in life to dictate their behavior, and bow to the powers that be that are restricting the things they say and think and do; from the laws and wishes of public officials to the petty demands of the lesser people, and allow themselves to acquiesce their will to all these forces around them. They do not understand that these things are draining their lives away, and it is a pity that they let them do so; lost in a shroud of demeaning psychobabble and lost in a sea of despair, oblivious to the fact that they could do a whole lot better if they take control of themselves and do things the way they want to. If they set themselves free of these things, then they could be free to seek out the solutions to their own problems; and if all the people in the world were to free themselves of the shackles of oppression, then the human race would be in a much better state than it is today…

~ The Universal Quorum. ~
One day I looked around me and saw all the masses of people, and they were going about their business but their eyes told me that they had a lot to say; but from their forlorn and mistrustful faces I knew that they were mired in a sea of oppression, lacking a place to voice their concerns and having no other place to express themselves. And through it all I turned my observations toward the electronic media, and found a place where streams of people could voice their thoughts to the world; and here I drew my inspiration from the maelstrom of personal expression that I found online, the one place where I found that such a thing exists! I saw that the ones so privileged as to find themselves here could express themselves any way they liked; and could voice their opinions about any subject they chose; and I saw that the effects of their quorums and their personal networking had a profound effect on the world at large, influencing the very fabric of civilization and for the better as it seems! I found that this place was a springboard to voice my own thoughts, and a place where (Contrary to what it is most popularly used for by most.) we have a say in what goes on; a place where democracy can spread and freedoms like voicing one’s opinions are welcome - for here it matters!…

~ Points of etiquette, or divine instruction? ~
Of all the teachings in ancient tomes and those of religion, the words tell a person how to live one’s life; credos for being good and the things that are bad and their punishments; and yet through all of this I detected that those that claimed to have had this given by a higher power as folly, for it was unclear whether it was truly given by a higher power, or was it simply the opinion and instruction given by the one conveying the wisdom? I knew that there were rules for how to live one’s life, but it was impossible to live by divine standards; for humans are too weak and too unwise to even conceive of the divine, let alone live by it’s ways. I see even in myself that I have done the same thing, speaking of the things humans should do because it is in their best interests to do so and claiming that these things were in religious tomes and never practiced; but I for one never claimed that my words were inspired by divine beings (A person of my stature does not deserve such special treatment by them!), for my only wish was to point out that these words of wisdom was out there all this time and would work if everyone had done them in the first place. I think that this was the case of nearly everyone in history who had claimed to have talked to their gods, they merely experiencing an epiphany by the cause of some trauma they were going through; for that is the only way normal humans can have inspiration that they perceive as divine, for only through strife can true wisdom ever come about…

~ All for the lack of a personal opinion. ~
I have noticed that in society, people in general do not have real personal opinions; and this is not because they do not have concerns to have personal opinions upon, it is simply the fact that most people do not have the time to think about personal opinions. Personal opinions demand a thought process that takes time to consider all the facts, but in today’s society where things are run fast paced and by the second; one is too busy all the time to really bother, leaving only those whose job it is to formulate opinions like journalists and jurors and politicians and the like. It would seem that it is a welcome change to have these people making their opinions after all, for the other people who do not have the time can rely on the opinions of these few people; and thusly they do not need to have opinions of their own, for from these they can formulate their own version of reality - or should they? These few people of opinion should not really be the ones to formulate the policies of their collective group, for their opinions may or may not be in conflict with their wishes; so what is needed is for EVERYONE to do their part and formulate their own opinions about the issues that matter, for only in then are we expressing our own personal freedoms - by voicing our own personal opinions…

~ Bravery, courage and fool-heartiness. ~
There are many people who do many great deeds, police and firemen and soldiers and the like; but these people are trained to be brave, and are paid to take on these things to keep the rest of us safe. There are also those people who must find the strength within themselves to beat the odds, and to overcome the danger in order to make it through that particular obstacle; ones who think that, never in a million years would they have had to encounter such a situation - but see it through and generally come out on top. Yet there are other ones that think they can make it through a certain hazard or disaster, but lack the fortitude to make it or are otherwise do not have what it takes to do it and they don’t know it; and still they blunder through it without a care to think it through and reconsider their situation, and though the chances are slim that they will make it, they either squeak by or fail miserably - totally oblivious to the fact they had just risked their lives. The truth is that only skilled people should be allowed to do brave things officially, but if something like that needs to be done and they are not around; then it is the ones that truly brave that should come in to save the day, and not the bungling fools that step in that THINK they are brave. Too many disastrous mistakes have been made by too many fool-hearty people these days, and it is up to the professionals or the truly brave to repair the damage they have made; and I am not talking merely of acts of courage or daring deeds, for there are other matters of policy and edict that were made by fools that the brave must now see through…

~ Mystical rites, voodoo and paranormal things. ~
In this world there are a lot of things that we indeed understand, and yet there are still many other things that we do not understand; and through all of our logic and all our ways of trying to explain such phenomena, these things still remain a mystery. When all else fails us, we turn to religion and other methods of belief to gain some comfort against the things we do not understand, but this way still proves ineffective; and our primitive mind creates conditions where these things seem magical or evil, and we devise certain ways to try and counteract the things that haunt us. The rites and rituals we devise we think will save us from this evil, but in all of this we further separate ourselves from the real and logical deduction of all this mysterious phenomena; and once again nothing is learned from the experience, instead we grasp our good luck charms and hope for the best! Since this is not the way to solve these mysteries, it is much better to look at these paranormal things in an analytical way; for there is nothing hidden in the world that mankind can not find out given time, no matter how much time we waste believing in the magic and the mystery of our lives…

~ Weight loss is in your mind. ~
Nearly everyone has an idea of how much one needs to weigh, and for some it is true as one’s health clearly depends on one’s weight; but it is a different matter when one thinks one is overweight when in reality he is not, for there is a clear bearing on psychological disorders and the notion that one is too fat. Everyone has a healthy weight threshold, and healthy people need not worry about their weight as theirs is perfect for their build and lifestyle; but those that are inactive and out of shape generally increase in weight to an unhealthy level, and these are the ones who should worry about their weight. Unfortunately there are people who think the only way to happiness is if they continually lose weight, those that take dieting to the furthest extreme and become dangerously underweight; those that do not eat and think they should weigh even less despite their emaciated appearance, those whose only goal is to weigh NOTHING. On course there are others who take weight watching to the opposite extreme, never regarding their weight as anything important or thinking they have some kind of glandular problem; and their weight increases until they are of a dangerously obese weight, never realizing in most cases until their body fails them. It is always best that a person eats healthy and within moderation, and to make sure they have sufficient calorie and vitamin intake; balancing it out with adequate exercise and activity, and only then would they have a healthy weight and a happy life…

~ Joining a club. ~
Everyone in the world needs a sense that they belong in a society, for this is the basis for our way of life; because we are social animals and need the interaction of others to enrich our lives, because without it we feel introverted and left out - lonely as if we were the only ones left on earth. We go out and seek those with similar interests and thoughts, and mingle with people of our own kind; and there we feel safe and secure, like birds in a flock or fish in a school. Even though this is all well and good, we still must be careful as to which social group we end up joining; for there are a lot of them still out there that only mean harm to a society, or worse only there to coerce and endanger their members. Some feed on their member’s finances, and they taint the individual’s thoughts into doing things they want; things that either are meant to taint society or cripple it to their own ends, done by their members who were unwittingly brainwashed to do it. There are no really safe clubs to join out there, for all wish to coerce you one way or another; for in their cliques it is you that are their minions and you have little say of their policies, for in your mind all you are trying to do is fit in. There are also good clubs out there, those that mean no harm save to be an aid in social events and out there to help people become more socially active; and those are the ones a person should seek, for in them you can fit in and not have to worry about the trouble they cause…

~ The hazards of errant thoughts. ~
These days people do not watch what they think, and let the thoughts that pop into their heads rule their lives; and this often results in disaster, for the consequences of acting rashly or without fully thinking through one’s actions can be terrible! Anger begets violent reactions, and this results in arguments and fights and wars; pondering underhanded thoughts produces skullduggery and deceit, resulting in disastrous deeds and greedy ends and mistrust. Acting in a selfish way can lead to disaster for those close, and causes poverty and discord among the people; and acting in guile against another person makes that person think they were duped, and the mistrust falls upon the one who beguiled this person. Truly any thought that is thought that does not benefit other people including oneself are thoughts that are not very well thought out, for the only constructive thought are thoughts such as these; thoughts that are good and giving and well-meaning, for only these thoughts are ones that are any good…
