~ The great drives that compel us. ~
There are many things that people want to do, and there are many things that people need to do; things that drive the soul and compel the person to do many strange and wondrous things. The desires of the heart are diverse and profound. There is love, hate, to eat, to dream, to anticipate, to hope, to reproduce, to think and to want; and these things drive us to do the things we do every day. One can not hope but to do these things, for it is in our nature to act the way we do. We simply can not help it, and sometimes these things get us into the most unusual situations!
But this is not the way to ascend to higher planes of existence, for there is a whole plethora of possibilities if one could unchain oneself from these desires. One could become virtually immortal, or travel through time, or shift from one form to another, or simply to make this planet a far better place to live in. There is no limit to what one could do if one could free oneself from the desires of the heart, and I suppose it is the most difficult thing of all to loose oneself from them. When one learns to control all desires of the heart, making them undone, only then does a mortal being become immortal.
If a person could free himself from the genre of the ordinary way of thinking, then he could make all that he imagines a reality; and free his mind and spirit from all of reality's constraints. That person is freed from desires and is able to perceive the higher plains from which immortality comes from. With his imagination freed, the heights in which he can attain would be limitless. When all desires of the heart become undone, the freed person can perceive the ways leading to the higher plains of existence. Once he can perceive these paths, traveling them and growing accustomed to the way, only then can he persevere to the ways of immortality. Once on this path, the enlightened one can perceive the plains even beyond the highest plains. The truly miraculous feat is first becoming one with oneself, truly knowing the self and all that is his true essence. These people can become teachers in the faith of soul, and show others the ways of true enlightenment. This one truly becomes one with the Self, that which surrounds them and others around them… _____ T.E.S.

~Seeds of destruction reaping a new civilization. ~
It will perhaps take many generations to fully realize the true benefits a truly evolved society can bestow on us, for the saying goes 'Rome wasn't built in a day'; and for this society it will be no different. It will take time for people to fully get used to this new way of living, and many mistakes will probably be made along the way by all. There will be many unforeseen problems to deal with, and we may not be fully prepared for them; but if we have strength of the spirit and tenacity in what we believe in, we will persevere all the hard times and ride out all the times of strife that may come our way.
I am truly worried about modern day society, for the way it is running itself and all it strives for is harmful to its' people. The way inflation and the love of money rules peoples' hearts makes me wonder if humanity can withstand the financial stress this will cause. The way we are squandering our resources and not thinking of the welfare of the generations of the future make me wonder if there will be anything left for our children! One question we all must ask ourselves is this: Will our children and their children ever be able to forgive us for what we have done to this world? I think they most certainly would NOT, therefore this waste and selfishness has to stop or we will ruin it for everyone on the planet!
If only we could have convinced people sooner of these problems, for if we did so a few decades ago, we probably would not have the problems we have now; and the foundation of this new civilization would not need to take place. However, since it is not possible to change the past, we must go ahead and change the future. I guarantee that, with this new civilization I propose, we will NOT repeat the same mistakes that have gone on in the past. We will NOT be greedy or wasteful, and we will care about each other in all ways we are able to. It is said that 'those who do not learn from their mistakes are doomed to repeat those mistakes'; and you can be assured that I have learned the mistakes that humanity has done in the past, and all of humanity will certainly know that we will not repeat them!
On down the road we will be a much better breed of people than our forefathers, for our philosophy on life will be a lot more wholesome and pure. We have to be this way because we would be setting an example to the rest of the world, and we want that example to be the best we could possibly present. We will not create war, and the reasons for war will be nipped in the bud before it gets started. There will be no more arguing about trivial issues as they will be solved before they become a problem, and there will be no unfaithfulness to spouses or other scandalous family matters, for we will have sufficient wisdom to solve these matters ourselves, person to person; and family life in our civilization will be of a more harmonious manner. These events, along with dozens of other matters that might come up, the rest of the world will see; and if their values are similar to ours, they may just wish to try our way of life. Furthermore, if they do, then they will see that what we are doing was the right way to do things all along!
There are times that I wonder if this society is being brought about too late, that I should have started decades ago to formulate plans to make this society a reality. There are a series of observations I have seen that makes me think that mankind is on the unstoppable road to their own destruction; and what I could possibly say or do would not make one bit of difference to humanities' outcome. The wars that have occurred for no detrimental reason whatsoever proves that man can not get along with each other, and so does their constant alienation of other people different than they are. There are divisions in people that goes from what they believe in, what political orientation they happen to view, the color of their skin, their gender, their ethnic background; and they grow angry at every petty difference they perceive in others. People often use more than they could possibly need, and they continually want things that are not really necessary to live a long and happy life. They continually strip the land of its' resources and cause all sorts of environmental stresses with the earth, not caring for the other life forms on the planet; and going so far as to exploit those creatures for their own gain. It is these and many other reasons why I think that trying to save these people with my wisdom is a gigantic waste of time; and if I were not a caring person, I would just give up and let the people in the world spiral down the drain to their own destruction and forget the whole thing!
Once all of mankind grinds its' civilization down to nothingness, it will be up to us to show them the way back. The world will no doubt be more wild than it once was. There will no doubt be disorganization and turmoil, people trying to survive any way they can, perpetrating all sorts of uncivilized acts that we would consider barbaric and savage; but it will be up to us to re-educate them, and get them back on the road of civilization. It will be up to us to teach them the wisdom to once again enter the world of society. We must be strong and lead them into the ways that will grow into a peaceful way of life, and show them that the old ways that led them to being so barbaric are wrong. It will be a very big responsibility to lead them this way, but we would have already attained the moral stamina to accomplish this. We must show the capacity to lead these people with humbleness and dedication, patience in the practice of instruction and dedicated in the practice of morality. We will be the shepherds in the world, and have many flocks of unruly people to herd toward the divine light of peaceful civilization...

~Making up ones’ own mind. ~
I know what you're thinking: What weird words of wisdom is this idiot going to lay on me now? Well, nothing, my friend! Too many people has imparted their thoughts upon too many people to have me make much of a difference on you! I wouldn't try to change your trains of thought, or make you see things my way. I am only trying to tell you things as I see them, not to tell you what to think about what you observe! That job is best left to politicians, rabble rousers and evangelists! My ultimate observations of everyday life is no different than my first impressions of everyday life. People are what they are, and that's all they are going to be. What I, or anyone, says or does will not make one bit of difference. People have been this way since the beginning of time, for it is in our genes; and it's in our nature to be just the way we are, no more and no less. I feel that there is very little people can do to change people, and my words would not make a lot of difference. We do not have the kind of power to change and control other people, but there is something we can do. We should look inward, to our own spirit and see the person we really are. We should try to improve on what we see in there, and thusly try to improve the person other people sees. We should make our personal life as unimposing as possible and to try to get along with others. If we can do that in our lifetime, ultimate personal satisfaction can be realized. If everyone in the world did this, then we as a species will be able to achieve our ultimate greatness. I don't profess to know precisely what is right for you, as I seldom am sure what is right for myself. I can not say that you MUST do this or that, but sometimes I think a person should take the advice from another person from time to time. The truth really is only YOU can choose the things that is right for you. I am merely here to make suggestions and try to help you along on the road of life. Leaving aside what I think you should do, it is up to you to decide whether or not to follow these suggestions....

~ What should be done. ~
The building of a bright and new civilization for the good of all mankind is a noble and gallant task, and well worth the effort. I know it requires everyone to make monumental changes in their lives, and requires unwavering commitment by all to make this work in the first place; but nothing this monumental is ever easy. For one thing, the laws currently present in the world work to insure things stay the way they are; and prevent changes as drastic as I propose from happening. For one thing, the laws in all countries require their citizens to pay taxes; and they have rules and regulations that govern nearly every aspect of human life. There are fees and penalties galore that one must pay in order to facilitate ones' life like the way they want it, and one must pay those penalties if the slightest infraction is committed. There are laws that govern your property and other things you acquire and peddle, and taxes on those wherever you go. You must pay money at every turn in order to live in any country you find yourself in; but the main problem with this is my civilization uses no money, only goods and services!
It's going to be impossible at best for any country to obtain taxes and penalties from this civilization, for we have no money; and the best they could get from us is services or goods. We could sell some of the things we produce to pay it, but that can't last too long. I'm sure there would be all kinds of laws we would be breaking as well, just because a society like this exists; but it is possible to find ways around them. I guess we could negotiate our existence, putting it to the government of the country we are in to pass laws to make our existence more livable for us; but going through political red tape like this would put a great strain on everyone involved. Besides, the way most governments in the world work is slow at best. The changes I propose to make in the way the world lives its' life will take swift decision and fast action in order to make it work before the current state of things grinds itself into the ground!
It might be necessary to start out small, with just me and a few others that believe in what I'm doing. To avoid the current state of things mentioned above, we may have to start out in some out of the way place; like a fairly remote island or some other place where there is not a lot of civilization to begin with. If the place we chose is too far out of the way, we might have to carve out a place from jungle or desert or some other type of terrain; then we would have to start from scratch, making a place of our own. The civilization can start out being established first in a farmstead or small community, like a village or something; and then it would be time to think of what we are to do. The first thing to do after that is to tell the world what we are and what we stand for; telling them that the way things are will not last, and may end in disaster. We need to make it clear to them that the current state of affairs is slowly strangling itself, and soon this could lead to complete breakdown of civilization. We need to tell them the basic philosophy of our civilization, and show them that this is the only way to save mankind. If all goes well, we could see that people would believe in what we are doing; and make the commitment to come join us, and then we will see our numbers increase!
To preserve any kind of semblance of a modern society, we will have to procure some kind of electrical power supply; and to be as self-sufficient as possible, we should explore ways of generating it on our own. Hopefully, the area we start off in has sufficient wind or geological attributes’ to harness for power; and then we would need the technology to harness it. Electrical generation through wind will need windmills, and many efficient models are available in the world today; and if the area is geologically active, we could employ some kind of geothermal generation system or harness some other type of geological resource. Water power is a very efficient way of producing electricity, and we should make sure the are we have has an ample supply of that for this reason as well as it being the lifeblood of any civilization. If we were to utilize certain combustion engines for our farming equipment or transportation, an alternate supply of fuel would have to be produced either by farming or mining. The farming method would require us to make bio-diesel out of crop grain, and that is usually made of corn; but I suppose it is possible to obtain the fuel from other grains, like wheat, rye, rice and others. Since petroleum products are rapidly being depleted, other kinds of fuels could be taken from the ground; and for now only underground methane deposits come to mind. If the land the community would reside on has no such above ground or underground resources, we might have to rely on animal and human powered transportation.
To feed everyone in the community, we would need to grow a fair variety of things; vegetables and grains, not only for us but for any farm animals we might need for food and transportation. The land we would need would therefore have to be a pretty large plot; and that would mean we would have to procure land many dozens of acres big. We would need that area in order to grow enough to feed everyone; plus the fact that we might need the surplus crop to manufacture the bio-diesel we would need to run our vehicles. The animals we would need would have to be fed a considerable amount as well, for they would also produce food in the form of meat as well as do the really heavy work that we would wish them to do. Housing of the people in the community could be a small problem, for it would all depend on what type of homes the people expect to live in as well as how many people we plan on having there. In this community, everyone would be considered equal; and there will be no leaders or followers as the hierarchy of most governments go. There will be no rich and no poor, and all the people should have equal housing. I, for one, would not mind any kind of home I had provided for me; so long as the roof doesn't leak! I would assume that everyone would get the kinds of homes we were capable of building ourselves; and it would all depend on how skilled a carpenter we were as to the quality of the homes.
I guess the most important thing for this community is to have the people be of the right frame of mind. They must be carefully taught the philosophy of living totally for the good of the whole, and have the highest commitment possible to make the community work. They must no longer think as they do in the society that is around today. Greed and selfishness must be a thing of the past, and they must forget their untoward thoughts and actions against one another. Minor disputes must be resolved between both parties, and wisdom and humility must be used to resolve these disputes. It would be better if the people were wise enough not to get into these disputes in the first place; and with this type of society, things like that would eventually never happen. This society must remember that we are setting an example for the rest of the world, and we are going to show them that people of every walk of life can coexist in peace and harmony. We will show them that people can live without money, and do it in a way that is not detrimental to the environment or wasteful of our resources. We are going to show them that we can live independently of any outside influence, and do it in a way that they could do as well; provided that they wish to make the commitment and do it too.
The civilization I foresee will be a challenge at best, for one so difficult is most unused to for people of this day and age. It will entail society to go back to its' roots, and be subjugated to grueling labor to eke out a living from the land. The reason for this is because the energy demands today's society demands from our resources is depleting them at an alarming rate, and pretty soon those resources will not be with us any more. We must learn to adapt our ways, and return to a simpler form of existence; for if we do not, the way of life we so love will no longer work, and we will be as lost babies in the wilderness the world will soon become.
It will take not only great feats of ingenuity to overcome this dilemma, and infallible wisdom to seek our place in this new world; but the fact remains that we no longer have either in order for us to survive it at all! Wisdom can come in all shapes, sizes and can be about anything; from the way to think of life and living to where and when to plant a certain kind of crop. We must be carefully taught to be wise and smart in all endeavors, and to help others along that road of wisdom; for if we don't stop and think of what we are doing RIGHT NOW, then all hope for the survival of mankind is lost! Since the human race is overpopulated as it is, I think that the rearing of our young should be seriously taken into consideration. Our proclivity and promiscuousness urges us to reproduce all the time; but it is that very same nature that is causing great strain on our resources, and a better way to handle such matters must be employed. One simple way would be abstinence, and careful instruction to the younger adults in such matters; but as humans will be humans, it will be the hardest thing of all to keep everyone in line!
As I've said, wherever we decide to found this society, we are always going to be subject to the laws of the country we happen to found it in; and some countries insist that everything be taxed in one way or another - a multitude of ways in most cases. The question would come, asking where all the money to pay for all these taxes come from. It would help that the people founding the society to have a substantial amount of money to start out with, even though it would not be used within the property of the community itself. This money would be used to buy the property and obtain the materials to get the community started; and the rest could be used to pay these taxes as the money supply remains adequate. Some countries require that each individual pay taxes, and I would guess that everyone would be audited to see their taxable worth; but since no members of the community would possess no money, the tax would have to come out of the money used to found the community.
Living in my civilization will mean one has to give up all they knew about living in the modern world, and sacrifice all that they have been trying to achieve the other way. One would have to unlearn all they have learned about living in modern society, and be taught this new way, which is as old as when mankind first stepped down from the trees. We are now at a crossroads in civilization. One where we must decide whether or not to go on as we have been going, and run the risk of destroying the planet along with ourselves; or choose a different path, one that will lead to peace among ourselves and the other living things on the planet. Only we can make this decision, and only we must make an account for the consequences of this decision; for we consider ourselves intelligent and wise, and only creatures such as that have such an obligation.
It takes strength of the soul to live as we do, the quality deep within us that guides us and convinces us that we actually can make a difference in our lives and the lives of others. It takes faith in ourselves and in what we are doing to make our way in this new civilization; for after the governments that we have put into power fails, we are the only ones left. It takes moral fortitude and a keen sense of justice for all things on earth to be able to survive in these days, and more so when you divorce yourself from all that you had known. It takes sharing and caring, giving and not expecting back, minding all that goes on about you and minding those that you encounter. It takes loving and nurturing all people and all living things, and having a sense of the greater thing that you are a part of. No more should the world be subject to greedy endeavors, or should people live and run their business solely for the good of themselves. For one to survive in this world, all must endeavor for the good of everyone on the planet or that individual will fail as well. No one person's say will be the norm, and all will be entitled to suggest; for there will be no such leadership like that which has ravaged the world in the past. One thing I know is this: we are going to do things different this time around, of this it is a certainty!
We have a job to do right now, and it is a job that should have been started generations ago; but our greed and sense of uncaring ruled our hearts with such an iron hand that it blinded us from our true path, and led us down the one that will lead to our destruction. I can see it in the distance ahead, the glow of an amber fire that will consume us if we don't turn away; and yet its' echoes beckon us ever closer to it's dooming light like a moth to a flame. Are we to continue on, or back away from this destruction? The choice is ultimately ours, but we must first make sure to make the right decision; and I feel that continuing as we have done is definitely the wrong one! It would be best that all humans forget the ways that has led us to this crossroads and begin life anew in the ways in which we were meant to have - the life that is well worth living...

~ Is freedom of choice a wise choice? ~
I am well aware that there is a concern about what other people want to do with their lives, and the argument about freedom of choice; but the freedom of choice that other people want to do is detrimental to the whole human civilization! I'm sure you have seen the strife and turmoil that runs amok in the world today, and all that is because people want to do what they wish. It seems that they want to destroy the world, others and themselves; spiraling down to basic anarchy, and taking the whole world with it. What the world really needs is someone to intervene with the foolishness that humans do, and try to gain order from the masses. I do not propose this like so many other people have tried, stated or even proposed; for this new civilization will be as new as its' philosophy is old, living by the old wisdom for a change, and making the society a better place to be in.
People all over the world have various beliefs and a multitude of ways of living their lives, and many of them are counter-productive to the ways other people live. People all over the world have different belief systems, and maintain up and down that their way is the only right way, and everyone else is wrong. I believe that this attitude is categorically the wrong way to think and act, and that everyone should have a mind open enough to accept their neighbors' ways and beliefs. That is why the small community I will found will not tolerate discrimination of any kind, whether it be an open thing for all to see, or even the harboring of such thoughts. I will teach those within my community not to be so bigoted, and have an open mind about everyone’s' preferences; for everyone will be living together, and everyone will be required to get along with each other.
There are many things that others will say and do to discredit our way of life, and accuse us of all sorts of things that they consider wrong; the reason for this is they wish the way things are to remain so forever, and to shun any type of change. There are terms they can compare us to that would be totally false, and yet they would use these words to hurt us because they have nothing else to compare us with. There are words they could use to label us with, which would also be falsified and slanted into terms that they would brand us with; and all because these words were relevant in times past to former leaders and regimens, and they would try to compare us with them. There are 'buzzwords' they could use to describe us because they would have no other words to compare us with; and they would be wrong because we are of a civilization like none has seen in the whole human race, a people where perhaps new words would need to be spoken!
It would not be because the rest of humanity wasn't trying to learn about us and figure out what we're all about, for they would try and try with all their might; and they would still be flabbergasted at the way we live, for the way we live will not be like any other way yet devised by man. We would therefore be compelled toward compassion to these people, for they would be ignorant of us; and we should feel it our duty to educate them on our ways. We need to be patient with the other people, for they do not understand our ways; and they will never understand them unless we educate them. I know our way of living is the most difficult thing in the world to teach, especially to teach ways that are still being tested out; but in the course of this society's maturation, this process should be easier over time. This society must be established for the good of all; for if it is not made a reality, the future of mankind is doomed. Mankind is the most dangerous force on earth, and we must teach them to refrain from their destructive ways. We must set an example to them all and be the best society we can, and show them that our way is for their own good. It is with the best of intentions that we build civilization back to the way it is supposed to be, regardless of whether or not the other people on earth appreciates it. They are blinded by their supposed technology and the culture that surrounds it, not by the wisdom that the older ways teaches us; and once they see the good we're doing, they should come around and be convinced that we were right all along.
I realize that nobody is perfect, no less any one society or another; but we have to do our best and make this society a great one, or else all hope for the rest of humanity is lost. We must strive to make this civilization as perfect as possible in order to restore mankind to the glory that we were meant to have. No more of petty arguing and bigotry, let's put away greed and indifference, strive to give comfort to those that are at loss, adhere to the finest in morals, protect the downtrodden, retain bravery in the uncertain times ahead; and the most important thing of all is to rebuild society and resurrect humanity to the glory it was always meant to achieve. The key to instructing the rest of humanity to a better way of life is to teach them the 'Golden Rule', as the term goes; for they have forgotten this rule, and it is up to us to reawaken them to the wisdom the Golden Rule can give them. They have forsaken this wisdom, and this is why they have made the world this way; but we have a commitment to restoring the world to the healthy planet it was before mankind made a shambles of the place. This will take wisdom and patience, for the rest of humanity will resist the instruction; saying they are free to make their own decisions, and have the right to perform their own actions, be it right or wrong. It would be a grave mistake if we let them continue doing what they want, but instead we should teach them to do what NEEDS to be done instead.
People today are too bold and arrogant for their own wisdom to justify the things they do to the world, the planet and to each other. They simply do not possess the wisdom and discipline to play God in most cases, and they think they have the right to do what ever they think they can do. If people would acquire meekness and humbleness in their actions, they might be able to see that what they are doing is not in their own best interest overall. All for the sake of personal gain or financial profit they go about their business, heedless of what they do to the environment or what harm they do to their fellow man. They waste, pollute, cheat, steal and embezzle; all in the name of personal gain and greed, and fail to realize that they will be the ones to be held responsible in the end! These people must be taught the folly of their ways, and with luck they will see that their actions hurt what they wish to have the most. They must learn that civilization is more than what any one individual can conceive, and it is more than the sum of all the peoples' works. We must show them that every person contributes something in their own little way, and the greater the work, the more beneficial to the civilization overall. They must see that our way of doing things, working for the benefit of all people, is the most noble way of life possible; and the living for ones' own self is nonproductive to the community. They must also see that labor for the community is best for themselves, for it provides sustenance for all, not just one!
To have the kind of life that is truly worth living, one must live by wisdom at all times; but life in today's society shows that people do not live with any wisdom at all. People must be shown that living by wisdom is the only true life worth living. Our way will show them that the way they lived was unwise, and they should live as we do. We will live a simpler life, free of the destructive traits that mankind is well known for in today's world. They must be shown this way soon if all humanity is to survive! As hard as it is for most people to believe, it is possible to live with the bare essentials and be happy with that. Since the dawn of recorded time, mankind has lived with far less than we would be using and got by just fine. If we went back and did the same thing, we would be using up far less resources; and our lives would be lived in a more down to earth manner. Back then life was good, and if we set our civilizational clock back to the technology of those days, things would be a lot better off than they are today...

~ Rules of the heart. ~
The reason why all societies have rules and general codes of conduct is pure and simple, they are meant to assure that we behave in a civilized manner at all times; and they are there to help keep us out of trouble, for without them we would never be able to be kept in line. In both the societies that our separate governments try to instill as well as the ethics our varied religions try to instill, laws and rules and such are made up to insure that we individuals as a society does not get into trouble; and it is by indoctrination into these establishments that we have given up our baser freedoms, and told to agree to follow these rules. I think it is a sad state of affairs as mankind really needs to have governments and religions tell them what to do like that; for it is said that if it weren’t for governments to control our lives like they do, civilization would start breaking down within a few DAYS!
The reason for this is we do not have it within us from the start to behave in a civilized manner, we are still mired in the barbarism of our primitive ancestors; and living in a civilized manner among each other is so foreign to us, that we need other people to tell us how to live in a civilized manner. This is why we may SEEM civilized, but are never truly so; and that is because we have not as yet curbed our animalistic nature, and trained it to live in peace and harmony among our fellow men. The rules, especially the rules teaching moral ethics, should have been taken to heart the moment they were thought of; but mankind of the day thought those ideas so profound, they must have come from higher beings than themselves and early man had thusly instilled them into their various religions - and now they are worshipped instead of DONE!
If everyone could keep a sense of what is right in their hearts, and learn to live by them as they knew they should, then this world would be a much better place to live in, and there would be no need for others to tell us right from wrong. If we could start living the good life that is beneficial to all, we could do away with all governmental and cleric influences; and begin to live like we were always meant to live, and be free from any oppression that these institutions can impart on humanity… _____

~The multitudes and their problems. ~
I can not say enough times that mankind needs a new way of living, for the way I see things are going, we are dragging ourselves down into destruction. In many circles people have been saying this all along, that something terrible is going to happen; and we will all be destroyed if we do not do something about it. I see it happening in the social, economic, environmental and governmental arenas; and we are the cause of it in many respects. Furthermore, if we are the cause of our own destruction, then it is our duty to see it remedied; and if we do nothing about it, all hope for mankind is lost. We take the clairvoyance’s of many people in the past lightly, but what if they were true? What if they truly foresaw our own destruction, and tried to tell us in their own capacity about the dangers that would soon sweep over us? Would we not consider people that didn't take heed to the warnings of others as fools? WE were the ones that these people warned of the coming disasters, and WE are the ones ignoring these warnings. In my estimation, that makes us the fools, and the ones warning us should be heeded.
You hear it everywhere on how to preserve the world, and how to make it more livable to the rest of humanity; but how can we hope to live here when nobody takes heed to the suggestions that are out there? I have seen how, if one does not want to cause pollution and still have energy; one would use cleaner running energy sources, and use only those until the pollution problem is solved. The trouble is nobody wants to spend the time or resources switching to these methods, and pollution keeps on going its' merry course until it will destroy the planet one day. You hear how the poor live in squalor, and blame their neighbors that have a little more; and this causes divisions and strife among all of society, and this eventually causes war both on the street and by countries both near and far.
You hear how the economy in many countries are going out of control, how prices on everything is skyrocketing and causing shortages to people who desperately need commodities and can't afford them; yet they fail to pin the blame on the people who are actually doing this harm, which are the owners of big business, who are selling anything not nailed to the ground and charging an arm and a leg for these things. For these people it would be better if we control them better, and make them stop being so greedy! We should make it illegal for them to charge so much for the things we need; for profiteering like that is no better than piracy! It is things like this which is why I have made quite a few suggestions myself; that if people should take up the things I suggest, then the rest of the world could only benefit. One of those things is to take up a simpler way of life, one that would not waste so many resources and reduce pollution; but the only reason why this would not work very well is the population problem: there are just too many people on the planet to support them all, no matter how conservative we carry on. There has to be a way to reduce the population, through conflict either manmade or natural; and if as a result the population drops to about half of what it is now, the world would surely be able to support that many.
Another way is to reduce or eliminate mankind's dependency on money, and form a more honest way to run commerce; for the only thing we're doing with money is making the rich richer and supporting an already over-bloated economy, and increasing worldwide greed in the process. The only problem with this is that it would involve the matter of a persons' honesty to make run properly, and nobody but themselves can vouch for another’s' honesty. We would have to devise a way to entreat on a person's honor, require them to take an oath and strictly enforce this policy in order to make sure everyone adheres to the policy of moral honesty and fair trading of goods. It is hard for me to say this, but I think that every human being on earth is evil and rotten to the core; and they can not be trusted to do anything honest for anybody but themselves! The only real hope left for this to work is to strictly instruct people to be more honest, to go to their children and teach them when they are young; and maybe in a generation or two, people might be honest enough to run businesses without the burden of money.
In the genre of governments all over the world, politics are of no help, either; for their goal is to maintain the status quo, and have things stay the way they are. They do not wish to ruin their power base, and ruin their personal way of life; for nobody wants to change their cushy lifestyle, and learn to live at a somewhat diminished way of life. they make laws to keep their policies in power, and get paid off by the businessmen who have them in their back pockets; for these people are greedy too, and power is the thing they are greedy for. A true government is one that has the best interests of their people in mind, and not be in it just for themselves; but this is the way governments run themselves, and it is not until they get with things and change the way things are run that we will finally live the life that is truly worth living.
In life it is often unwise to be irresponsible in our actions, to do things that are harmful to oneself or to others; and doubly dangerous to be unaware you are doing it. The key to living a responsible life is to be learned and aware of the things around you, to see what can go wrong and take steps to prevent tragedy. It also means to take control over a situation and do your best at it, then take the accolades when it turns out right or the blame if things go wrong anyway. The trouble these days, as well as days past, is that people do not want to take responsibility for their actions or the situations around them. They either let someone else take control or try to duck any and all responsibility when it comes to them. When things go wrong they blame others for the mistake or try to get out of it any way they can. These ways of sloughing off responsibility has to stop; because like it or not, we ALL are ultimately responsible for our fate. That is why we must prepare for the changes that are ahead of us, to take steps to remedy the things that are wrong, and make plans for the horrible times ahead. When going on a trip, one usually prepares for it; bringing along everything they think they need to live while on that trip, and if they prepare properly they will get through that trip in a very successful way. We go about our lives unprepared, like a person stranded on a desert island with nothing to use to survive. We are then forced to survive in any way we can, and the hardships we encounter will be tremendous. We will have to learn everything it takes to live in this new world we'll find ourselves in; but the thing is we would not have needed to learn all this if we had only prepared for these things! It is a wise person that prepares for the worst, for it is much better overall to be safe than sorry.
It pains me to say that the people of this generation may not make it through the tumultuous times ahead, for their mindset and their ways are poisonous to their own self worth. Would it were for me, I would just let them continue the way they are going and watch them propel themselves right down the tubes; but I care for the world and for mankind, and it would kill me if the people of this generation were to slip to oblivion. However, the people of this generation is too set in their ways to change any time soon; so I suppose it is up to their children, who will bear the brunt of the catastrophes ahead. We must carefully teach them how to behave, and how to think of the world; to guide them in the intelligent thinking that is helpful to society and how they think of themselves and the world they live in. If you consider the way their parents are, their children seem to be our only hope.
Even though living in the past may have been tougher, physically, on people living then; to me it seems to be a much simpler time. Then there were no worries of overpopulation, financial inflation or any other problem living in modern times can present us with. A few decades ago we used to think that the way we do things was all right, and there was nothing that would happen that would change our way of life; but these days we see quite the opposite taking place, and it is the strains of modern living that is cramping our style. Though it is true that there were more physical stresses in living in the past, more superstition and things were unknown then too; but they had nothing over and above that to deal with in living life. I think we should try to live as they did, living by much more simpler means; and even though we are more enlightened than those of the past, we should learn their wisdom too and live as they do.
In today's society we have all sorts of modern contrivances, made to make life easier for us. We have machines and methods to grow more food, communicate all over the world in many ways, travel to all points of the globe and beyond, technology to delve into the very building blocks of life, ways to build dwellings en'masse to house everyone and sciences and technology to be able to do all sorts of things. We have grown to rely on these technologies and methods in order to survive in the world. In fact, we've grown so used to these things that we have lost many of the basic skills necessary to live life had we never invented these technologies in the first place. Take a person off the street or anywhere in the civilized world and place him or her someplace without these things and they'd quickly become lost, and the chances are they would not be able to survive for very long there. People need to become reawakened to the skills needed to live a simpler life; for if our technology fails us one of these days, nobody will be able to survive. The way we use our technology these days, it does us no good in the long run to have it anyway, so I think we should abandon technology altogether and live a more simple life.
In the large scale, the distribution of goods for simple civilizations can be difficult at best; but small scale distribution of goods may not be too great a problem. large scale distribution of goods requires transportation of great quantities long distances, being redistributed locally at the end of the run; and this requires large scale contrivances to transport the goods, and other resources to fuel these contrivances that distance. Unfortunately, the fuel needed to run the vehicles that distribute goods in today's society is dwindling at an alarming rate; and nobody seems to be doing much about it. Simple means of transportation of goods could be an alternative method if anyone is willing to use them again; and of course I'm talking about animal driven carts and things of that nature, but this may only work on a small scale as it did so long ago. We need to find a way to make sure everyone gets their fair share as far as consumable goods are concerned; for right now only those that can afford it are getting everything they need in life, and those that can not are not getting much of anything. The ones that have do not care about the ones that have not, for their concerns are only for themselves. to prevent strife and divisions in this area of problems is to make sure everything is distributed evenly, regardless of the cost of such an undertaking - or the wealth of the persons in question.
Of course, all of this will depend on the honesty of the people involved, for many would no doubt try to obtain more than their fair share. They will have to be made to understand that it is necessary for all to spread the commodities out as evenly as possible, and that they must draw on their own personal honor to share things like this. They must be taught that it is more noble to be generous like that than to be greedy and keep as much as they can. To live the good life, one must learn to live it together with everyone else; and to have any life that is worth living, one must learn to love it and everyone in it. If not, then everyone would soon grow to hate everyone else; and that would soon grow into a life that a person would hate. the way things are going, the world is growing into the latter rather than the former; but with the right brand of knowledge and wisdom, mankind will gradually grow into the former.
Many people today think that they can judge a person in ten seconds flat, as I've said; but a person is a lot more than they seem. It would take a person a lifetime to truly know another person, for in a few moments one can only learn what a person is like on the outside. One needs to truly understand another person in order to really know a person. One can't judge a book by its' cover, either good or bad... _____

~ Forward thinking instead of backwards politics. ~
To imagine what life will be like to us, you must project yourself into another plain of existence. You must acquire an additional dimension of thought. Here, where the ethos is communal, there is no 'individuality' or 'self' in the strict meanings of the words; for the community is the only reality that makes any difference to us. We live for the good of the whole, like colonies of ants or termites; and like them, we strive to make the community a better place to live. War is an evil thing, but to submit to the dictation of other states is worse. Freedom, if we hold fast to it, will ultimately restore our losses; but submission will mean permanent loss of all that we value. To you who call yourselves men of peace, I say: You are not safe unless you have men of action at your side.
Once we have lived through the rapid changes that are now marking our transition from the third to the forth phase of history, from a period of diversification to one of unification, we will be squarely faced with a number of serious problems. It has been shown by many social experiments that man cannot control every aspect of life. All we can do is to try to isolate the factors that are the keys to the entire structure, and to work on them. These are basically: the conservation of natural resources, power production, population control, the full utilization of brainpower and that of education. The details of the social structure will fall into place automatically as the end product of all those forces, as they always have done.
Political unification of the world is not the first natural step. By the time it has become possible without turmoil, it would have also become unnecessary. Here is a thought that makes my civilization unbecoming to most of the world. I have seen many types of governments arise that is similar, and those the rest of the world call Communism. The big difference between Communism and my civilization is that my civilization would be headless. This means that there would be no leaders, and nobody permanent to say which way things will go. The assignments on what needs to be done will be doled out by one or a committee, but the ones doing the assigning will do this only on a temporary basis - a few days or a week at the most. This way no favoritism or corruption will get a chance to take root, and everyone will have a say in all aspects of my civilization. I'd like to see anybody call THAT Communism!...

~ The age of hope. ~
My way would include a regime of help and co-operation of everyone in the world. Those that have more would share with those who have less; and do it willingly and out of the goodness of their hearts. Programs would be instilled to feed the hungry, house the homeless and otherwise give to those that are lacking in any way, shape and form. The work would be to make both rich and poor equal in material goods, and to phase out the real need for money; for money is not the only way to denote real worth. The real need for the people of earth is the fair distribution of the things one needs, not the glut of these goods by a certain few while the rest go without. That's the way war and strife is created, and no government worth implementing can solve this problem better than mine can. On the spiritual side, people are needed who actually believe in this; ones who would do it, not for their own personal gain, but for the good of all. It won't matter what race, religion, color or gender these people are; for this civilization is for all people. People who are willing to volunteer their time and resources for the embitterment of humanity; people who are good, trustworthy and would promote advances in mankind in their ingenuity of the help they perform. They would contribute more functionally with their display of hope in humanity. In return, they would receive the gladness of the accomplishment, and thusly the deed would be their own reward.
I can't really explain things better than that at this time, for time will tell to what degree my civilization will help humanity. I am still learning too, trying to measure out the ways of man before I can truly lay out any grand scheme. I fumble my way forward, and always will; and maybe my civilization will crash to ruin, but the one thing one can't say for me is at least I didn't try. I am going about this in a cautious way, for I am a cautious and thinking person; but that doesn't mean I'm timid about this as I feel that something this drastic needs to be done for mankind to survive. I do not intend to take over any government or any other such nefarious thing, nor do I intend to violate any unreasonable law; even though these very things may get in the way of this true progress. I am not an anarchist, and I do not want power for myself; for power can corrupt the best of us, making me into what despises me the most. The only security that we who want to lead our own lives, we must create within us. We must have oneness in this matter, and an ongoing resolution to live life independent of overlords. Only by helping others to the level of security that is comfortable to living can we win civilization harmony for ourselves, and a world well worth living in.
I think the major way to change the world and make humanity work more harmoniously together is to change the way mankind thinks about itself. We tend to be too critical about one another, thinking that they are more apt to tell others how they should live their lives. Governments of all types are just as guilty of this as all individuals, for governments, like everyone else, does not think that individual people can run their own lives. Things have been this way for so long that most people do not take responsibility for their own lives, and wouldn't know what to do if something unexpected happened to them. The mind of man is too petty and reactionary to be called a logical thinking machine; and even though our brains have thought up technology that can boggle ones' mind, we do not possess the mental maturity to use this technology in the proper ways. The automobile was invented, and people didn't know how to use them properly; so during the time they were in use laws and regulations were made, but people still don't know how to use them no matter what laws are in place. We finally crack open one of the basic laws of the universe; and instead of using it for peaceful purposes, we go and make bombs out of it and nearly blow ourselves up. We make vast machinery for various purposes, and people still die using them because we do not have the wisdom to use them properly. We unlock the basic building blocks of life, and we fear all sorts of things that may not be true; thusly this science lingers in limbo for our xenophobia.
The first thing that should be done away with is the sense of offense. We take things too seriously, and only take what is said and done at face value, and we never take what offends us in the context they were intended; only in the way that we think the other meant it! Thusly we go through life worrying whether what we say or do will offend someone, or go around finding things to take offense at. It would be more prudent if the offended one were big enough to not let themselves be offended by what is said or done by someone; and it would also be prudent if the offender think before they say or do what they are about to say or do. Unfortunately, we do not do either; and unless we do, much unrest will continue to occur. We must unlock the secrets of how our brains work if we are to ever evolve into the creatures we are meant to evolve into. Basically, we must stop thinking within the parameters that we currently think; switching over to thinking that is outside our collective boxes, and doing away with the ways we currently think. We must impose the wisdom that has already been thought up by the dynamic persons that have reached a level of enlightenment that many of us have not even guessed at; and then we will be able to think of wisdom that mankind has not the intelligence to dream of!...

~More thoughts on behavior. ~
To live the best life of all, one must live by a certain code of ethics and morality. This code is based on good common sense and general wisdom that many in the world already have. The basic credo in all their morality is that if the deed would be bad for them, it would be bad if they did it to others. This code includes all bad and good acts, both minute as well as monumental, and entails all the things that are crimes in today's laws as well as the smallest of mistakes. It includes making all the right or logical decisions and taking all the correct steps in all the tasks one has to do. The sad thing about this is people feel they have to be forced to do these things, and not do it because they actually want to. To be good is the most difficult thing of all while being bad requires little effort at all. No wonder people want to be bad instead of good - it is way too easy! I mean, who wishes to go out of their way and do something good when that person can lay back and ignore the good deed that is at hand. Too many people go about in life thinking they do not have to do the right thing, and they are right. They don't have to, but if their hearts were in the right place, they should be compelled to want to.
However, upon careful consideration, one would be able to see how beneficial being good can be; for others who do bad to you expect good things to happen to them, even though they do not deserve it. If one would attain worthiness to receive good things, it would be a different story; for only then would they deserve good things to happen to them. I think that the way these people think are too self centered; so no wonder everyone has bad things happen to them! No one wants to do good things, so everyone has bad things happen to them. If a person does good things to others, not only would good things return to that person; the superior feeling the act of doing the good deed would be well worth the effort. For those who have ever given to charities, they know the great feeling they get at the deed, and what of those heroes that get other people out of bad situations? The personnel of the fire and rescue services, the doctors and paramedics, the rangers and safety officers in the world; if they didn't get paid or have that as their motivation to do those jobs, would certainly feel really great in the jobs they do. One can do good deeds in smaller scales as well, holding doors for people, helping someone up when they fall, pulling someone away from oncoming traffic, giving their change to the people with the bean pots; anything like that will certainly give a person a great feeling! A way to do good for your friends and others is to have talks with them if they have problems, for sometimes it helps them to sort things out; even though there are professionals that they could pay to hear their problems, it means so much more for them to get help from unconcerned people who are not just doing it for the money.
This is only one of many ways doing good can benefit both yourself and others; for no other code of conduct can do the greater amount of good for so many people. It is said that any good has a way of spreading around, for when a good deed is done to someone, that person feels the need to reciprocate that deed to others. Pretty soon everyone is doing good deeds, and the whole world can not help but benefit from it. Throughout the course of human history, many have come up with words of wisdom, rules and credos that are meant to make humanity better; however, the human animal is so possessed with its' own self interests that the good of others have little meaning for them. They would rather continue on, pursuing their own self interests and totally disregarding the wants and needs of others. These selfish people need to be made known the benefits of being charitable toward others, whether it be performing an act, donating something or giving money to those that need it. This is why we have laws saying such, for they need to be told what to do and not infringe on the will of others; and they can not seem to think of others on their own, but it would be so great if they did! They are the ones who would benefit the most with those words of wisdom, for the ones who already adhere to what is right are already doing a fine job of it. The selfless people of the world are the true heroes of the world, for their acts of charity prove that there is still hope for mankind. It is the heroes and the strong of heart that should run the world, but they are the only ones with wisdom enough not to go and take control; but it is the unwise bad people that have taken power, and those are the ones that are destroying things for everyone else...

~Some of the best advice around. ~
You as an individual does not seem like a lot, and the things you do does not seem significant in comparison to the labors of the billions of people on the planet; but everything every person does matters in the long run, because we all do our tasks for the good of the entire planet. Sure they may seem like we are doing it solely for our own benefit; but in reality the whole civilization on the planet gets reward. Do not think that your tasks go unnoticed, for without your task being done, someone would suffer further down the line - and ultimately you yourself would suffer. So do your best in everything you do, for one raindrop raises the sea.
If one suffers then all suffers, we are of one species and one kind; and all of us would rather live than die, so if you do a good thing to another you do a good thing for yourself. An example of a farmer growing crops sees bounty in two ways, one is the immediate feeding of him and his family at harvest time; and the other is the joy of knowing that he has fed countless thousands, for the life you save is in the goodness you sow. If one life perishes, then we all suffer; we must care for others as well as us, for our credo should be survival of all or none.
There is no real reason to get angry, but if one does; it is always best if weapons are not implemented, for violence begets violence. We are creatures of great negotiating skill, but this is only when it is to our advantage; and the sole reason weapons of any kind are used is presumably to insure the negotiation goes the way of the weapon wielder, but it often gives the opposing side the impression that they are brash and uncivilized. This makes the point of the negotiator moot and invalid, and thusly the point of the negotiation turns to naught for the weapon wielder, then it is inevitable that war comes about. Some think that weapons are our friends, the might that makes right; but in reality weapons are enemies, even to their owners.
There is one thing to say to get what you deserve, but it is always wise to accept what you get; for it is better to receive what is earned than to grab for everything one can get. Furthermore, it is even wiser to give than receive; for in giving there lies one’s own reward, one of profound feelings of accomplishment and joy that your gift made a difference. When you take, try to take only what you need; for then there will be some left for others, yet another gift to feel good that you gave. It is best to be generous over being greedy, for greedy people will gain nothing while generous people will gain everything; so when you give, give more - and when you take, take less.
A selfless person who puts others before oneself is the noblest of persons, for his generosity of service gives inspiration to all those around him; showing them that he can make a difference by making the concerns of others greater than his own concerns, and making them see that he really cares about them. A selfless person never complains about the service he is doing, nor does he expect reward for the services he renders; for he knows that his reward is within the service itself, and perhaps one day someone else will perform a selfless act that benefits him. It is always a better thing in the long run to piut yourself last, and it shows compassion when you place others above you.
The way to perfect understanding is to sense what is around you, and to glean the information you need from what you experience; for only until one does that is full comprehension of a situation can be deciphered. One can not make a viable argument with merely half of the situation understood, for the rest of the information you don’t know may spell the downfall of your argument; and your adversary may make your statements invalid. If one does not wish to be made to look like a fool, he or she should observe the situation for all information that can be had; and listen to the points the other is trying to convey, for once this is done the opportunity to learn becomes nigh.
These days the more a person gets done in a span of time shows how efficient he can be, the way a person multi-tasks and completes many things at the same time; but where will the time be spent if one does not have the proper concentration on one thing or another, and invariably a mistake is made somewhere down the line? Doing many things is great, but it comes to naught if the task comes out wrong; and is so because not enough concentration is put on that task, causing it to go into ruin. It is best to set out and think, and only do one thing at a time; for this is the way that a thing is done well, and not spat out like that of an assembly line.
The best advice of all is in the way one conducts one’s day, for if one is happy in what one does; one should always show this fact, so let it out and smile, laugh and sing!…

~What is on one’s mind. ~
The imagination is one of the body’s greatest resources, for it is within this that came all of man’s greatest innovations; starting with fire and the wheel to all the modern technology we enjoy today, and it is responsible for all of man’s creations to come in the future. Do not tout your own imagination just because of what you think as far-fetched, for if everyone did that there would be no new things; and we would still be stuck back in the stone age. Do not be afraid to voice one’s opinions either, for within these views comes other kinds of thinking; and each new idea is beneficial if mankind is to move on to greater things, but it is up to us all to contribute our thoughts and give out ‘two-cent’s worth’ so the rest of us can advance. Only the extremely educated can have ideas that are worth something, or so the case may seem these days; but others can have good ideas as well, and that is what makes mankind so great.
Those that make opinions all the time seem to know everything about what they are talking about, but what is often the case they do not; for they simply want their opinions to be heard; and it doesn’t matter the fact that they do not have their facts straight before they talk, for all that matters to them is that they talk and others listen. One should never assume that they know everything, for if their facts are wrong or incomplete they would soon be proven wrong; and then their reputation can get severely crippled, and they would certainly lose face among their peers. I for one seek out as much information as I can before making my comments and statements, for if I didn’t I know My comments would surely be shot down!
The best cure for this is to seek enlightenment from every source you can, for it doesn’t take much to find out everything you need to know; just as it doesn’t take much to be proven wrong if you don’t! Enlightenment can come from any source, but the best source a person is likely to have is their own heart, for within there locked inside is wisdom beyond what any human is capable of comprehending.
We in a world of excess and the want to acquire far more than we can use has led to waste and shortage, hard times created by our own greed for material things; no less for our habits and needs, for those wants get abused all the time. One grows overweight, squanders resources, labors until it becomes unhealthy, makes one sided relationships and feels that these things are normal; but in truth we should just slow down these drives that will ultimately destroy us, for we would live a happier and healthier life if we do. Wise words include ‘Everything in moderation’, and it is true; for nothing good can come out of such opulence, other than our demise - which may be better in the long run for other residents of the planet!…

~ Leaders and doers. ~
To be a good leader, one must be calm in a crisis; and think through the problem if they expect to inspire others, but those that panic or lose their resolve shows their leadership skills are lacking, and nobody would tend to follow them ever again. Leaders of today rely mostly on public opinion rather than true leadership skills, and that is why there are so many weak leaders around today; for the ones that truly should lead are already doing heroic yet humble jobs, and are working for these weak leaders. These servants are making their leaders look impressive, but ask their leaders to find it in themselves to do these heroic deeds themselves, and they would meekly decline and lean to the heroic ones. Of course there are other, stronger leaders that can tell what needs to be done; and do what they need to do themselves, and their people will follow what they have to say because they know what their people need the best. These are the ones who know the heartbeat of their people, and can react to changes or tragedies with resolve and decisive actions that help their people.
Anyone can be a leader if they stay cool and think through the problem; for a calm mind is an intelligent mind, and it can think through any solution. One can not be afraid to make a certain decision, even though it may go completely against everything one holds dear; and it is unwise to fear these changes your mind has thought of, for to overcome that fear or any fear to speak of, one must first face it head on. Some person’s fears are of the future, and other’s fears are in the past; but in the present there is no fear, for in the present there is only action and reaction. Many times it is wise to act without thinking, as in a situation that requires immediate action; for then there is no time to think, neither of reward nor consequences. But I guess the most important rule if one is making a plan of action, to keep it as simple and detail free as possible; thusly it makes things simple and free of conflict. Seal every task or action with a ‘K.I.S.S’, which means to ‘Keep it simple, stupid’!…

~ On being friends. ~
Having a friend is just about the best situation one can find oneself in, and being a friend to someone else is both a privilege and a responsibility; for in both cases there is things that both must do to ensure that both remain happy. A friend does not forget to listen to the other, and he does not disregard what his friend has said; for the touchstone of every type of relationship is communication. A friend knows how to listen, and understands the things left unsaid; and knowing and understanding the feelings the other is relating, and feeling in his heart the cares of his friend. A friend is ever supportive, and eager to be there to help; and so it has been coined, a friend in need is a friend indeed! A friend is a person you can rely on, and can tell of all your problems as he can ask the same of him; so as a result, by leaning on someone you love, you help hold them up.
Friendship, like love, is an institution that is meant to last a lifetime; but in this day and age people have friends that come and go, fleeting friendships that end over some trivial matter easily resolved with a little communication and agreement. A true friend is willing to stay with you even though the odds are against it, and would be there until the end; for it is a rare and special thing to find a friend who will remain a friend forever, one who would last through the good times as well as the bad. If there were better friendships in the world today, the world would be a much more peaceful place; for true friendship makes all who are friends stick together through it all, and truly friendship is the only cement that will hold the world together…
