If you think that your pic sucks, then DO not, I repeat DO NOT look at my pic for the calendar...I love it and you have a lot more talent than I do. What medium are you using for the color? I can't tell; on my computer it looks like it is digital in part. If you are really unhappy with it, just keep working! I am in part ashamed of my skills when I see others examples but only because I don't set aside time to really try to get any better. I bet if I tried I could but finding the time is hard. Don't give up because I want to see some more! ;D Please!!! !!!!

Well thankx Vira, I'm in the middle of trying to fix it up a little better. I do all my piccys I draw in digital art. Thankx to my digital camera software I have. The wonders of Fuji finePix. It has a great digital coloring editing tool.

Quit describing all your own stuff as 'crappy'!!!!! ;D Sure modesty can be a good thing but its not crappy. Crappy is something that is so hideously screwed up it is beyond all recognition. And this is recognisably a dragon and not a bad one at all!

They're not that bad at all. I do agree that the lighter green on the back looks MUCH better than the black. Do you have the ability to add texture to images with your image program? It'd be neat to see a few scales here and there on the dragon; like along the knees and neck.
All art goes here;) Well, the way I look at it, visual art goes in the Haven of the Muses, written art goes in the Sunstone Gardens.

Thankx Az.I wish it had. Unfortunately, the program is in 2D Its mostly made to touch up piccys but, I use it to draw with. It dose a better job then MS Paint (which I hate) and, you have a better choice of colours that you can't find on MS Paint. Oh, wait… I did a dragon with some texture on my Fuji FinePix before but, I don't think its the same what your talking about.
I can make it look like paper or wood. That just about what I can do with it. My version of the AD&D red dragon
I'll just keep playing around with the program to see what else I could do with it. ;D
There is probably a way to get the effect that your talking about. It's a little tricky if you know what your doing. There is a way you could play with the shadows to make it look 3D. I think I done that with one piccy I did.
Yea, I did with this one. This one took me a lot of time and patience to do. It also took me a year to do. One of my best dragons I did. dragon01.gif
