WOW!! That's absolutely AMAZING!!! I would've liked to be there while they were examining it! It's amazing that that kid even found one, since complete dinos are so rare. Now, there's not as much guesswork, since they have the real deal (in some shape or form) right there! Again WOW!! Thanks for the article, Kor!!! News sites usually have loooooooooong addresses since they host and store so many articles.

That's amazingly cool! The chances of finding that are, well... much much smaller than one in a gabajillion. I'm jealous of the kid who found it.
Striped hadrosaurs, eh? I wonder if Mr. Gurney will include a striped hadro in any upcoming books...

Now i know that there have been references to some dino's possibly having been like chameleons...is there any facts or data to support this since the mummified dino's have started turning up? Anyone know?
I think that the study of these mummies is really going to open a lot of doors and change the way taht we have seen them in many ways because up until recently so much has had to be assumed or guessed and now we are starting to get more facts. It is all very exciting! Thanks for the links Kor!

It makes sense. If some lizards have various capacity to do that that some dinosaurs may have had it. Though I don't know for sure either way.
The fossilized mummies should help increase some knowledge about dinosaurs, though it will likely add some questions also.

Of course! Everytime you answer one question, two more questions pop up, any kid knows that one!

Or even better: The kids who ask the question, then don't wait for you to finish answering before firing off the next two. ;D
My brother falls into that category...

Very interesting, Kor! In fact, the onsite advertising here mentions a TV special Sunday night on the National Geographic Channel about the mummified dinos. I think it was also mentioned on the Today show.
