ooc: LOL! I was bored, so I started this, I don't really expect many replies, but, oh well... By the way, I'm going to try and do this one a little differently and leave this RP open by invitation only. I hope that doesn't bother anyone... The time setting is WAY before Anakin... Gai-Gan Finx, Gai for short, held her saber in her hands and took in a deep breath, sensing the world around her. She felt a presence, but held still, waiting for it to attack first. The attack never came, but Gai still held still. "Learn well, young ones do" said a familiar voice, and Gai couldn't help but smile Suddenly, something burned her shoulder, "Aha! But still have much to learn!" Gai opened her eyes and saw Master Yoda standing beside her, a smile on his young face. Gai shrunk her head on her shoulders, embarrassed, "Yesa, Mastersa Yoda" she replied humbly "Hmm" said Master Yoda, and he walked around the sixteen-year-old Gungun, "Again you shall try" he said, "This time, but do it" Gai took another deep breath and closed her eyes, letting her long ears listen to Yoda's lessons, but focusing her mind on his actions that caused a ripple in the energetic force around her. "Ideal is a quiet mind, padowan" she heard her instructor say, "Great potential have you, but must concentrate" Yoda flipped above Gai, but she remained unflinched in her focus. "To be ignored, compliments are. Defeats young padowan, pride does, gets into their focus and becomes hazy" Yoda swept his saber towards Gai, but she parried. This was when the fighting began. Gai once felt nervous in dueling her Master, but now she felt calm and relaxed, as if it were the most natural thing in the world. Her purple saber sparked with Yoda's green one, sending sparks all over the room. "Destroy, careful not to" said Yoda easily, as if all of Gai's efforts were going to waste. Gai finally tired and Yoda held his saber to Gai's throat, he looked at her sternly, "No, give up not yet. For strength is Force used, repeat lessons, need we?" "No, Mastersa" said Gai She stood and linked herself to the energy around her. "Good" said Yoda, "Good. Come!" Gai closed her saber, but held it ready in case Yoda was trying to catch her off guard. You could never tell with this Master.

ooc: Okey doke, if no one will reply, I'm just going to write this one like I would a novel. Gai and Yoda entered the mess room, Gai wondering if her Master would attack her, Yoda humming to himself as he walked casually down the rows of tables. "Relax, you must" he said, "Everything is there a time and place for. Training requires tension, feasting requires relaxation" Gai smiled and relaxed a little, although she kept her mind in tune with the energy forces around her. "Good" Yoda said when he sensed her relax, "Not all serious, Jedi" He jumped lightly onto one of the benches and sat down, but his body was much too short for him to see above the table. "Hmm" he said, "Sometimes good thing to be small and light, other times bad thing" Gai tried not to laugh as she took a book from her cloak and set it next to her Master, "Ah" he said when he saw it, "Thank you, Padowan" "Yousa is welcome" Gai replied She sat next to her master and saw one of her fellow Padowans, Darius Jacobi. She waved and he waved back, then involved himself with his noon meal again. A droid rolled up to Gai and Yoda, turning to the Jedi Master first, "Your order, sir" it said mechanically Yoda looked at the droid, "Is new one, lunch my own bring I" he pulled out a little metal tub from his cloak and set it on th table, "Padowan must you go to" Gai smiled as the droid rolled to her, "Meesa am contentsa with apples" she said, and the droid rolled off "Ah, stew make I. Very good" said Yoda Gai smiled mischeivously and, as Yoda opened the tub, flicked her tongue into its contents. Something clamped on its pinky flesh and Gai squealed. Yoda chuckled, "Same trick you try every time. Easy to predict, you are" Gai pulled her tongue out of the tub and found a Naboo Crab with its claw clenched tightly on her tongue. Yoda waved his hand, the crab released Gai's tongue and skittled back into the tub. "Much to learn have you, Padowan. Much to learn"

((ooc: Don't worry, Kendi! You're not alone!!! I've been trying to think of something that would fit in, so I'm sorry that I hadn't replied sooner. Here's my part! )) Hiding in the back corner of the cafeteria, Jedi trainee Aaylana watched the Gungan and Master Yoda sit together with curiosity. She could have stood out if anyone had been looking in her direction because as a blue Twi'lek she was anything but normal-colored. Ever since she had been brought to the Temple, even as a baby, she'd been shy around others and had perfected the art of making herself seemingly invisible despite her coloring. She didn't know why she was as shy like she was, but didn't want to change a thing. Master Yoda was always trying to draw her out of her little shell and succeded...as long as another student wasn't in the room with them. At least I'm not the only one who's unusual in here, Aaylana thought in relief, sensing that the Gungan was extremely in tune to the Force. She'd read in the Temple archives that the Gungans of Naboo weren't known for their use of the Force, so that made this one especially different. Just like me. Since she'd been able to wield a lightsaber, it had been apparent that one wasn't enough for her to brandish her tallents fully. The council had argued on the subject for hours about giving her two lightsabers, but in the end, Yoda had convinced them that it was the only right thing to do. When Aaylana was around six standard years old, Yoda had given her permission to wield two lightsabers...a prospect that she had mastered easily. A little smile appeared on her lips as she remembered the conversation she'd had with him the day after she'd accidentaly made a double-sided lightsaber in a Force-trance. She'd been scared that she would be in serious trouble, but the old Master had been quite calm about it. Maybe, now that she thought about it, he'd known that would happen. Master Yoda was exceptionally powerfull in the Force and probably the Force had told him of what she was doing beforehand. In any case, her lightsaber was a secret from all other Padawans and perhaps all the Jedi Knights. Even at twelve standard years old, she had many secrets that most Knights would shy away from. Suddenly, a tweak in the Force brought her attention back to Yoda and the Gungan. The Master was staring at her with an obvious expression on his face. He wanted her to come over and meet the Padawan he was with. Gulping nervously, but hiding it well, Aaylana stood up and took her plate of Kashykk greens to their table, determined not to say anything unless Yoda told her to. ((ooc: I hope that's okay for a start with my char, Kendi! I just LOVE Star Wars and I have tons of chars sitting in the back of my closet! Tell me if you have any ideas for the plot of this thing.))

Gai was eating quietly, albeit oddly, when Yoda tapped her on the shoulder. The Gungan immediately pulled her tongue back into her mouth, thinking her Master was going to attack it again. Yoda simply pointed behind her. Gai looked and saw a young Twi'lek girl standing shyly at Gai's shoulder. Gai looked at the girl for a moment, wondering what it wanted. Then it clicked, "Oh, yousa want a seat!" she scooted over and the Twi'lek sat quietly. "Meesa sorry" Gai apologized, "It'sa just that meesa not quick-minded today" The Twi'lek did not reply. Gai looked confused, which, by Gungan standards, when one looked confused, they looked CONFUSED! Then turned to Yoda, "Shesa deaf?" she asked quietly Yoda shook his head, "Deaf she is not. Shy she is. Friends she needs" "Hmm" Gai replied, then turned back to the Twi'lek. A thought struck her. Gai flicked out her tongue, caught one of the apples in her bowl, and spun it on the pink flesh. She then took it into her mouth and glanced at the Twi'lek to see if she had noticed. She hadn't. Gai thought again and got an idea. A mischeivous grin crossed her face. She flicked one of her apples towards the Twi'lek. It landed with a satisfying *splat* on her plate. The contents flew everywhere. When the Twi'lek looked at Gai, she was pretending to be in deep conversation with Yoda. The Twi'lek was obviously not fooled, however, because Gai felt greens slap against her neatly pulled back ears and heard laughter echo in the mess room. She looked across the table and saw Darius laughing at her. She squished an apple and flung it at him. It landed in the middle of his face. Gai started laughing so hard that she fell off her bench. Soon, the entire room erupted in food-flingings and everyone trying to get back at everyone else. Soon, the Force was pulled into use and mayhem sprouted everywhere. Yoda even selected a few targets! Suddenly, the double doors opened and everything stopped at once. A droid announced that royal visitors were upon them and the mess room clattered with the struggle for everyone to clean up. The padowans and few Jedi Masters that ate with their pupils left to change their robes while the droids cleaned the rest of the goop off of the floor. Gai's thoughts were a blur as she rushed to her quarters and switched robes. What were royalty doing in the Temple? Their visits were not very frequent, mainly because the Jedi could be contacted by means other than visitation. Gai clamped a new ear-tie in and rushed to the Main Room, her brown robes billowing behind her. Why were the padowans informed? she wondered. Could they have some part to play in this strange event? ooc: I'm not entirely sure what to do with this RP, but I have a basic idea. I was thinking that a royal youngling could be kidnapped by the Sith to train or one of the early Huts for ransom. Tell me if you have any ideas

((ooc: Sorry I haven't replied in your dragon RP yet! Once I get hooked on star wars, I'm hooked for a while. Besides, your move's next, I think. Anyway, I'm thinking that it's a good idea you have here. Maybe our chars could be the only ones to save whoever's kidnapped or something like that. I'm sure we can think of something.)) Aaylana stood quetly at the Gungan's shoulder, waiting until the other noticed her. Yoda was the one to call attention to the Gungan and the Nabooian ((don't know how to pronounce that)) turned around, clearly waiting for Aaylana to say something. Something then clicked in her mind, for she brightened up. "Oh, yousa want a seat!" As Aaylana sat down, she thought that the Gungan's voice was the type that could make anybody laugh, though she doubted that was on purpose. "Meesa sorry. It'sa just that meesa not quick-minded today." When Aaylana didn't reply, the Gungan turned to Yoda. "Shesa deaf?" Aaylana felt her head-tails grow hot when Yoda explained that she needed friends. She knew that if she'd been a human, her cheeks would have been blushing furiously. However, she kept focusing on her food, wondering why Yoda had brought her over here. Suddenly, an apple landed right in her greens, splattering the contents everywhere. Aaylana looked up at the Gungan, sure that she was the one, but the later was pretending to be in deep conversation with Master Yoda. That alone was enough to give it away and Aaylana couldn't resist paying her back. Finding a spot between the Gungan's neatly-folded ears, she flung the greens on her fork at the tempting target. Another padawan began sniggering, drawing the Gungan's attention and the later squished an apple before throwing it in his face. The Gungan's hooting laughter was so contagious that Aaylana couldn't help but join in as a full-out food fight began, even including some of the Knights. This was the best fun she'd had in years where she wasn't the center of attention. Just as the fight was reaching its peak, droids entered the hallway and announced that Royal visitors would be arriving soon. Aaylana dashed out the double doors with the rest of the padawans in the rush to change into a new robe. Why were they informed and not just the Knights? She didn't have time to think about it as she partialy used the Force to change and grab her lightsaber, feeling like she'd need it. Sometimes she did stuff like that when the Force made her feel like something was going to happen. It scared her somewhat, but she'd learned via Master Yoda that you don't argue with what the Force tells you; you're just along for the ride. When she emerged from her dorm still trying to fit the lightsaber onto her belt, she ran full tilt into the lanky Gungan. "Sorry about that." She mumbled, trying to smile at the one who'd tried to be nice to her. "My name's Aaylana." The Gungan smiled, the action seeming so comical that Aaylana wasn't sure that it was intentional or part of her anatomy. "Itsa okeyday. Meesa is Gai-Gan Finx, but yousa can call meesa Gai iffen you want to." "Okay, Gai. Let's go see what those pesky droids interrupted our fun about." Aaylana couldn't believe it; she finally had a friend! Of course, she reminded herself, it couldn't have come at a time where she would be expelled from the Temple on her next birthday. ((ooc: I'll leave it there, if you don't mind. I think that Gungans are totally funny! Sure, they have their serious sides, but still, it's sometimes hard to take them seriously with the way they talk! Hope you don't take offense to that. I'm having so much fun with this RP, that I'm having writer's block on the others right now, so please bear with me. BTW, if you don't want a certain "R" in this, why don't you put a note on your first post to tell him so? This RP's too good to get ruined like that.))

ooc: Actually, I would consider your last ooc a compliment. I LOVE Gungans simply because they are so expressive, meddlesome, and not afraid to be themselves. Gai is an example of what I would probably do if I had a tongue that long. Gai cocked her head at Aaylana, this was a very sudden change. At first the Twi'lek would not give her the times of day, now she was as chattery as a love-sick kaadu. Gai grinned as she followed Aaylana, almost skipping with joy. It was odd, when she had entered the mess room (now the title was literal she thought with a little squeak of laughter), she had been worried about Yoda suddenly attacking her in her training. Now she was practically skipping down the Temple halls, her lightsaber... Gai gasped and felt her belt. Her lightsaber was not there! She looked around herself to see if she had dropped her weapon. She looked up and saw Yoda, holding the saber in his hand, "Protect this, you must" he said, "Careless padowan I will not have" Gai winced, "Meesa sorry, Mastersa" she said, "Beesa more careful" Yoda handed the purple saber to his pupil, "Go now. Want you, Royal visitors do." Gai nodded and ran to Aaylana, who was waiting for her at the end of the hallway. Gai held her saber tightly to her belt with the Force as she approached the double doors that led into the Council Room. The doors were very special, coming from the Padowan's chambers, in the fact that they only opened with the use of the Force. This was meant to help new comers be more in tune with the Force, as well as keep out any unwanted intruders. Gai felt her and Aaylana open the doors together, as if one padowan had pushed one door open and the other padowan had opened the other door. The entire Jedi Council was there, including Yoda, which boggled Gai's mind, something he tended to do with her training all of the time. A middle-aged couple dressed in the robes of the Royal Family stood in the center of the room. Gai could sense that they were worried and tried to think of why. It was then that she realized that one member of the family was absent. The sole heir to the throne, little Mishi, who usually accompanied the couple everywhere, was not with them this time. Gai sat humbly on the floor on one side of Yoda while Aaylana took the other side. They listened intently as the couple began their story... ooc: Here, catch! I hope I controlled your char alright, I think I'm getting a little of a feel for her, but probably not as quickly as Nightskye .

((ooc: :catches invisible ball: I'll try to go on with this, but I can't give any guarantees. This usually causes me to think for a couple days, but I don't think I can wait that long. Bear with me, please! )) Aaylana trotted her way back to the cafeteria, ignoring the fact that Gai had forgotten her lightsaber. Goodness knows, she had forgotten her own more times than she'd cared to count. She tried not to laugh when she and Gai opened the Force-sensitive doors as one; that would have seemed very inappropriate considering that they had Royal guests. The one thing she noticed was missing next to the entire Jedi Council and a couple people dressed in the royal robes of the Royal Family ((of what, may I ask?)) was the little girl, Mishi. Aaylana's active imagination took off as she sat down on the other side of Yoda. She'd met the little Heir several times and found the little girl sweet and charming for a humanoid. In fact, she'd even begun to suspect that Mishi had prefered her company more than the people her parents sent to her, but that would be asking too much. Aaylana's attention turned to the two who must be Mishi's parents as they began their story... It seemed that several days ago, they were visiting their home planet and had decided to take a little outing to a private island. Mishi had been thrilled to go--which didn't surprise Aaylana--and had helped with all of the preparations, bouncing from one task to the next. Nothing seemed to be wrong with anything she was doing so they had just excused her eager behavior to simple childish indulgence. Halfway to their destination, they had been ambushed by several humanoid-formed individuals. They drove them off, but not before Mishi had been taken with them. Aaylana supressed a gasp. Sometimes Mishi could tell what would happen in the future, but she was still too young enough to use her lightsaber effectively, let alone her Force powers. ((am i right in assuming that she was a padawan?)) The Jedi Code forbid any of its followers from forming attachments to another, but Mishi'd been so cute and lovable that Aaylana couldn't help herself. Her chest ached with worry for the girl as the Council asked more questions about the attack. Then what the man said cought her so by surprise, that she almost fainted. "We looked everywhere for her, Master Yoda, but nothing could be found of her or the kidnappers. However, we did find a datapad with a note asking for two certain Jedi's help." The whole room seemed to hold its breath as he glanced at his own pad to remember the name. "Is there a Gai-Gan Finx and Aaylana Laveederan among your students, Masters?" ((ooc: :tosses the ball back: Your turn! ;D I hope I was right in thinking that Mishi was a padawan at the Temple or at least loosely conected to it. I have to go have dinner now, so I don't think I'll add on anymore tonight unless I can beat my brother to it. ))

ooc: *catches ball and twirls it on one finger* Cool! I like it! I never really thought of Mishi as a padawan, but it works! Gai stared at the rulers of Alderaan in absolute disbelief. Did they just state their names in a datapad when the two padawans had not even been introduced to the outer world (other than Naboo for Gai)? Yoda seemed not very taken aback, which did not surprise Gai, knowing her Master like she did. "Know them I do" he said, "They are ready I know not. Talk to them I will, their hearts will I examine. Come back you must to the Council Room, when the answer know I" The Royal couple nodded and worriedly exited the Room. Yoda looked around the room and said, "Privacy need I, talk with padawans I must" The Masters left the room with their padawans until only Yoda, Gai, and Aaylana remained. Gai turned towards her Master, a worried look on her face, "Mastersa, meesa not ready in meesa training. But meesa accept assignment ifen you tell to" Aaylana agreed, albeit dazedly. Gai hoped Aaylana would not faint. "Hmm. Ready think you are not?" Yoda asked Gai and Aaylana shook their heads in unison. Yoda smiled mysteriously, "Then force you to accept, will I not" he replied, and got up to leave the room. Gai and Aaylana looked at each other for a moment. Suddenly, the blaze of a lightsaber sounded and, out of reflex, Gai parried. Yoda went to Aaylana next, and she did the same. Yoda motioned his hands and two other Jedi Knights entered the room. A battle ensued. Lightsabers sparked everwhere, but above the chaos, Gai and Aaylana could hear Yoda's voice some distance away. "Doubt you must not. Your powers must you trust to defeat that which you face. Unity I sense in you. Good. It you must use to see results you want" Gai fought feircely when she and Aaylana were brought back to back. As one, the girls connected their minds. Each movement was in perfect unison and helped each defender in their own battle. Without knowing it, Gai and Aaylana brought their temporary foes to the ground and pointed their sabers at their throats. Gai blinked and looked at Aaylana, who was in the same position. They looked at each other in shock until Gai smiled awkwardly. Aaylana stifled a laugh as they closed their weapons and backed away, helping the Knights stand. Yoda smiled as he looked at the pair, "Good" he said, "Ready you are. Doubt my judgement you must not" Gai bowed to her master even as her nerves shook violently. This was going to be an interesting mission. ooc: *tosses the ball back to Kyalnick* How's that? Did I control your char ok?

((ooc: *catches ball again and dribbles it* You played my char great! Oh, and thanks for clarifying which planet it was! You just forgot to mention that Aaylana has a double-sided lightsaber, that's all. Sorry if my posts arent that good today. I've been feeling crummy lately.)) Aaylana saw Gai's eyes boggle out of the corner of hers and kept a straight face, even though she doubted she could have laughed at the moment. She couldn't believe that the little Mishi would have asked for them and not a Knight! That poor little girl! Aaylana was almost sick with worry, though that was not how Yoda had trained her to react. "Know them, I do." Yoda replied in his unique way of talking. "They are ready, I know not. Talk to them, I will, their hearts I will examine. Come back you must to the Council Room, when the answer know I." When the Royal couple left the room, Yoda looked around at the remaining Jedi. "Privacy, need I. Talk with the padawans, I must." Aalyana and Gai stood up with the others, but remained in the room. "Mastersa, meesa not ready in meesa training." Gai began. "But meesa accept assignment iffen you tell to. Aaylana agreed somewhat dazedly, still trying to realize what had happene to her friend. "Hmmm. Ready think you are not?" Yoda asked with an intent gaze. When both of them shook their heads, that intense look changed to mysterious. "Then force you to accept, I will not." He got up to leave the room. Suddenly, Yoda turned faster than natural to attack Gai with his lightsaber. Out of reflex, the Gungan parried, her lightsaber hissing to life. Aaylana was not ignored and she had to activate her own double-bladed lightsaber as Yoda came at her. She barely noticed that two Knights entered the room and fought only with the Force as her guide. She felt Gai's back against her own and instinctively, she felt for a conection with her. Their minds clicked and they fought in a unison Aaylana had never encountered before. She gave herself to the Force and before she realized it, they had brought the Knights to the ground and were holding their blades in the customary finish position. Aaylana glanced at Gai as the Gungan smiled shakily. That would've set her off to laughing, but she stifled it and deactivated her weapon. Clearly, Yoda was satisfied, though Aaylana wouldn't go so far as to say pleased. Hardly anything pleased the wise Master. "Good, ready you are. Doubt my judgement, you must not." Bowing, but still nervous, Aaylana couldn't help but feel anxious to get on with the mission to Alderaan. When they were outside the hall, she turned to Gai. "That was great fighting! I wish Yoda could've paired us up earlier." She was beginning to find that her mouth loosened up in Gai's presense, which was an odd feeling for her. ((ooc: Your turn! I need to go now, so the rest of their potential conversation is up to you. Just to let you know, Aaylana's still a little shy when it comes to talking about herself. Have fun!))

Gai had to agree with Aaylana's wish to be paired up sooner. However, the more she thought about it, the more she realized the wise master's intentions in seperating the two. That way they could fight not only in unison, but seperately as well. Gai almost entered her dorm out of habit, but caught herself, "Weesa going to Aldraan now?" she asked Aaylana She looked outside, it was early afternoon. Aaylana shrugged, "We could try, the guards would stop us if we were not supposed to leave yet" The Gungan nodded, "Then weesa try, ifen you want to" Aaylana looked at Gai oddly, "Of course, the sooner we can leave, the better for Mishi" There was something in Aaylana's voice that hinted at a forbidden attatchment, but Gai shrugged it off. It was difficult for Gai as well not to like the adorable humanoid. She closed her dorm door and she and her partner jogged to the launchpad. The Jedi guards (padawans who were inbetween having finished their training and going into Knighthood), did not stop the Gungan and Twi'lek, but rather nodded approval, their way of wishing good luck to those leaving Corucsant's (is that how you spell it?) field of influence in the galaxy for the first time. Gai, being sixteen, knew how to control a ship and was liscenced to do so. She was uncertain about Aaylana. It seemed to fall into place, however, as she habitually took the driver's seat and Aaylana took the co-pilot's seat. The small ship was not entirely Gai's yet, but Yoda always let her use it until she bought her own. Slowly, she lifted it off of the launchpad, then caught sight of Yoda as he looked at them in his blank way. If he was not furious, thought Gai, then he must approve. Gaining confidence, the Gungan flicked a few controls and the ship rocketed out of the atmosphere. ooc: What do you think? I just couldn't wait to get started on the mission!

((ooc: I think it's a good idea! I was eager to get on with it too, so we're okay. I just love starwars roleplay! ;D )) Aaylana stopped for a moment as Gai nearly entered her own dorm. "Weesa going to Alderaan now?" Glancing out the enormous windows, Aaylana saw the early afternoon sun glinting off of Coruscant's millions of buildings. ((yes, that's how you spell it. I cheated and looked in a book. )) "We could try. The guards would stop us if we were not supposed to leave yet." She noticed that she and Gai were also of the same mind with getting on with a mission when someone they knew was in danger. Gai nodded. "Then weesa try, iffen you want to." "Of course. The sooner we leave, the better for Mishi." The phrase was out of Aaylana's mouth before she could censure it and once again felt her lee'ku grow warm with embarassment. Gai's large eyes didn't show any signs of having caught the subtle line of affection in there, but Aaylana had learned that it was hard to tell what a Gungan was thinking if they remembered to controll their facial expressions. It was a simple matter of jogging to the landing pad where Gai had said she had a ship that Yoda let her use until she could get her own. Without a word, Aaylana slipped into the co-pilot's seat as Gai lifted the ship gently off of the platform. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the small form of Yoda watching them and could feel a small nudge in the Force that was almost like he was saying "May the Force be with you." "And may the Force be with you, Master." Aaylana whispered back, feeling nervous but looking forward to leaving Coruscant for the first time. She didn't say anything until they were in hyperspace and then she relaxed. There was no way they were going to be in trouble here. "So, Gai, how do you feel about Mishi suddenly dissapearing like this? I mean, she wouldn't just accept being taken so lightly." Gai's toothy smile showed that she agreed with her, though she didn't say anything for a while. "Meesa be thinking dat sheesa be gibben dem muy muy trouble right about now." That startled a real laugh from Aaylana and she doubled over, trying to control herself. "Remember the time two older padawans were teasing her behind Yoda's back? She just bore it and then caused a melee during class, making them trip up in the middle of their excersizes!" Her laughter eventually died down into a somber worriness. "Do you think it was the Hutts?" "Why dey be on Alderaan insteada bein' on Tatooine is beyond meesa." Aaylana nodded and tried to think of any reason they would want little Mishi. ((ooc: now it's your turn! I can't think of anything exactly why they would want Mishi, be it the Sith or the Hutts, though the hutts sound like they want money from Mishi's parents, as usual.))

ooc: Hmm... maybe this would go deeper then the Sith or the Hutts... I'm not entirely sure at present... Gai shifted in her seat, remembering Mishi's young, but powerful energy. Although Gai was not attached to Mishi, she felt a love for all, that proved unextinguishable. She hoped that no one would be terribly harmed during this mission, although part of her doubted it. As they neared Alderaan, Gai pulled the hood of her robe over her head and double checked that her lightsaber was in its proper place. It was, thank goodness. Gai glanced at Aaylana and they smiled at each other through their hoods. Gai admired Aaylana's skill with a double lightsaber, it showed great dexterity and accomplishment for her. However, she would not give up her own, purple saber for the galaxy. It had proven itself worthy through all sorts of predicaments. Including the time Mishi had tried to surprise Gai by attacking her from above her dorm door. The little bugger was always hiding in strange places, and one could never be too careful in making sure she was not around a corner, a predator of the unsuspecting pupil. Gai switched on her radio and tuned it into the palace, "Jedi Padawans Gai Gan Finx and Aaylana Laveederan asking permission to land" It was difficult to hide her Gungan accent, although Gai could do it if she put her mind to it An official voice answered, "Ah, permission granted. Welcome, Jedi, the king and queen have been awaiting you anxiously" Gai smiled and looked at Aaylana, she had a feeling this would be interesting.

((ooc: Hmmmmm. This sounds like a making of a good book! Sorry, but i like writing and this sounds like something that would qualify as one! I'm still trying to think of a deeper plot, but it'll take some brain power.)) Aaylana hid her surprise when Gai spoke clearly with just a trace of Gungan accent. Looking at the Gungan, she'd no idea that that was possible. As they landed and the ramp lowered, she gestured for the older padawan to go ahead. "I bow to the wisdom of age." She couldn't help but joke and could see how hard it was for Gai to control herself. Stepping out into the temperate climate of Alderaan, Aalyana couldn't help but feel a little awed by what she saw. She'd been born on a spaceship and then Yoda had found her before she'd been allowed to reach her home planet, so all she'd known was the steel and glass of Coruscant. This planet was alive with life and color, making her Force sense feel a little overwhelmed. Gai wasn't bothered much by it probably because she'd come from Naboo which had as much life on it...probably more. The Royal Family was waiting for them when they reached the end of the landing platform. Aaylana and Gai bowed deeply like they would to a Jedi Master, one of the first lessons taught by Yoda and one that they should never forget. The King eyed them suspiciously. "Didn't Mishi send for older Jedi?" Aaylana fought to control her mild outrage at his obvious scorn and let Gai talk. "Maybe our names seemed like dey belonged to Knights, Your Highness, but there was no one else with our names in de Temple." "I am sorry about your daughter, Your Majesties," Aaylana added, seeing the worry on the queen's face. "I understand she was very dear to you." The queen nodded and turned away, talking to Gai more than her. Aaylana couldn't blame her...she would want to talk to the older of the two herself if she was worried. She eyed everything they passed, trying to see if it was threatening to Mishi or any of the royals. Then a thought hit her and she waited for a break in the conversation. "May we check Mishi's rooms? That would be the first place she would have left us a clue if she had a hint of what was going on." ((ooc: gotta go now. Sorry about the shortness of it. My char's not good with politics, so sorry if i had to stick your char with it.))

ooc: You bet this sounds like a good book! You don't have to apologize for liking to write, I LOVE it! No prob about sticking my char with the politics, I read that Gungans are skilled diplomatics... Gai thanked her parents for teaching her diplomacy through her visits with Boss Nass Senior as she spoke with the king and queen of Alderaan, now looking like any worried young couple. Gai struggled with hiding her accent, she did not want to worry the king and queen more by revealing herself as someone who could not speak galactic basic properly. Aaylana spoke up, "May was check Mishi's rooms? That would be the first place she would have left us a clue if she had a hint of what was going on." Gai nodded, "Yes, a good start, may we begin our search der?" The king and queen looked at each other, then nodded and led the padawans towards Mishi's chambers. Gai felt her confidence rise, with her diplomacy skills and Aaylana's sharp wit, they would be bringing Mishi home fairly soon. Her only worry would be their lighsaber skills, which were still a little shakey with Gai. They reached Mishi's first room and the door slid open. Gai and Aaylana entered, turning on the lights and immediately focusing the Force on anything that seemed out of place. Something glowed on the wall, and Gai immediately turned her head toward it. She gasped and tugged on Aaylana's robe, too stunned to say anything. Before them lay an enormous message on the wall, glowing bright green. Gai had studied this kind of use of the Force before, but it was said that only very well trained Jedi Knights could master the art. The thought of an unfinished padawan writing with the Force was inconceiveable.

ooc: Hey, I know that we've been having trouble with this RP, since neither of us could figure out what Mishi had written. I just got an idea, though. Hold on to your seatbelt!
"Appearances are deceiving. Desert location, dark company. Sands of time running out..." Gai almost panicked. What did that mean, "Sands of time running out"? Glancing at Aaylana, the pair returned to the hall, almost running into the king and queen. "Did you find anything?" the queen asked anxiously "A-a clue" Gai stuttered, it was difficult for her to hide her accent while she was so rushed, "We will be beginning our search immediately" "Where have they taken her?" the king demanded "I am afraid dat, for de benefit of de Royal family, I am going to have to make dat confidential" Gai replied non-chalantly, although her heart was wrenching with the pain that not telling the concerned couple caused her soft heart They exited the palace and Aaylana looked curiously at Gai-Gun, "Why didn't you tell them?" she asked "Itsa is pain to lie and itsa is pain to watch dem panic" Gai replied, "So mesa tell dem dat itsa is confidential. Now dey cannot follow wesa in space and get into bad doo-doo." The padawans leapt into the ship and hurriedly lifted off. Gai was still a little bumpy in her driving, but she soon focused and they headed out to Tattooine.
ooc: What do you think?
