((ooc: Okay, just as with any of my other RP's, no swearing or cursing; no suggestive content. Also, if you want to join in, please PM me about the plot first so this thing can go smoothly. Kendi, feel free to jump in whenever you can!)) Queen Senya Analandi sighed and wished she could be anywhere else but on a delagation ship headed for Coruscant. True, at one time she didn't have to be on it, but now she was Naboo's queen and there wasn't a question about what she wanted. It seems so long ago that I was just a simple Jedi Master in the Temple. She thought remorsefully and shifted slightly, her ornamental robes tinkling with the ammount of jewelry she had to wear on it. Times do change, though, and so does tactics.Years before Anakin Skywalker had betrayed the Jedi Order by turning to the Dark Side, Seny and been one of the youngest-looking active Masters in the Temple. She actually was much older than she looked, being nearly 177 years old now, but still some Jedi had thought her younger. In fact, she'd been the youngest Knight ever appointed the rank of Master at eighteen standard years, but she'd hated politics from the beginning and refused (politely, of course) to have a seat on the Council. That was how hardly anyone knew she existed, which somewhat helped her on missions but impeaded her on others. However, during the carnage that Darth Vader had caused, he'd killed her first and only former-padawan, Arnen, leaving her scared internally forever. Sometime between then and the next five years, she'd revoked the ways of a Jedi because it reminded her too much of Arnen (who she had secretly loved more than just a former pupil). The planet of Naboo remained unscarred by Emperor Palpatine's scourge and she remained in hiding there. Eventually, the people had pushed her into becoming their next queen once Jamilla had been killed by an assasin. Now Senya regretted that decision she'd made to help the Nabooians in whatever way possible. Funny, she thought with a touch of wry humor. The 5' 1" former Jedi afraid of politics now gets stuck with ruling an entire planet and has to rerepresent it in the new Republic. In a way, she still felt like an imposter, wearing the same red-and-gold gown that Queen Amidala had worn in front of the Old Republic Senate the day she requested aid for Naboo. Sure, she was shorter than Padme had been and had creamy hair not brown (not to mention her eyes were a honey-gold color), but the people seemed to like her nonetheless. A Naboo security guard entered the room, bowing like he would a normal queen. "My lady, we are about to exit hyperspace. The Chief of State, Leia Organa Solo and several other important dignitaries will be ready to meet you once we land." "Thank you, Tapinou," Senya replied, though her tone implied more than that. "Will one of the dignitaries be Master Luke Skywalker?" There was something in her that drove her to ask that painful question. Tapinou hesitated, not quite used to having Senya ask him questions that treated him as an equal. "Y-Yes, Your Majesty. Master Skywalker and three other Jedi, actualy. The message adressed them as his niece and nephews, though it did not say their names." Senya nodded, a clear dismissal, and followed him slowly out of her chambers, bracing herself for what she'd planned to say. However, there was a twinge in the Force that didn't have to do with the Jedi on Coruscant, but a much deeper threat that left her more disturbed than when she'd left. ((ooc: Okay, I'll leave it there. BTW if you haven't read any of the recent books, let me know along with the plot PM so I can recomend them. I hope I'm not the only one who's read them.))

ooc: How far after episode 6 is this? I may have to change my char's age...
Eighteen-year-old Lani Solo tried her best not to squeal in delight as she waited semi-patiently for the ship to arrive that held the Queen of Naboo. Uncle Luke had said that her grandmother used to rule this planet and that she held royal blood, which always made Lani shiver with excitement. However, she was glad that this obligation had fallen to another, instead of her mother, or even herself, for that matter. Her simple, but comely dress wrinkled as she discreetly shifted in her seat and Lani bent over to smooth it back out. "Please be calm, Lani" said her mother, "I would like to present a lady if you don't mind" Lani blushed and sat as still as she could, "Sorry, mother" after a pause, she asked, "When will the ship be here, father?" Han Solo smiled at his daughter's impatience, "In good time, Lani, in good time" Frustrated, Lani slumped her shoulders a little, but straightened again when her mother cleared her throat purposefully. It took all of her self-control not to bound to the window when her brothers shouted, "They're here! The ship's here!"

((ooc: This is like seventeen years or so after 6. The actual kids' names are different because they were in published books, but i don't mind changing it up a little bit to suit our needs. )) Senya found herself surrounded by her handmaidens (girls similar in look but definately the same age) and security guards as the boarding ramp lowered. Even being almost two decades after the destruction of the final Death Star and Emperor Palpitine, there were still plenty of beings that would cause trouble to those still trying to establish a firm government. Listen to yourself, Senya scolded quietly. You've been queen for these people for so long you're starting to think like a beurocrat! Arnen had said many times that once a person was involved in politics, it was only a matter of time until you loose what sanity you had. Senya had thought it a joke until now. There was one advantage to her side though; no one else knew she had been a Jedi Knight and couldn't take advantage of that. Following the security guards' advance down the plank, Senya adopted her "politics" face and firm voice. For someone her age, her voice remained incredibly young and light for her kind didn't age quickly. (She kept forgetting that she was only seventeen to her people and still young.) Leia Origana Solo, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and the three young Jedi bowed to various degrees when Senya reached level with them. She in turn merely bowed her head, careful not to disloge her heavy headdress. "Welcome to Coruscant, Your Majesty," Leia greeted, her voice only a little deeper than her mother's. "Thank you," Senya replied, careful to keep any emotions out of her cool and even voice. "We would have sent word of our coming weeks ago had our situation not been as urgent as it is." Luke came forward slightly, standing litteraly chest and shoulders above her. From Senya's still active Force sense, he definately deserved the rank of Master, though his father could never achieve it. The Force seemed to shimmer around him like an aura that only other Masters like her could see. ((ooc: I don't know what the other kid's names will be, so I'll leave that part up to you. However, what do you think about another, stronger, legion of stormtroopers leftover from the destruction of the Death Star? Maybe they could cause some trouble? ))

ooc: I like the idea! Sorry that I'm a little oblivious to the books... Lani stood regally as her mother welcomed the Queen and her uncle approached the guest. She tried to wipe any trace of a smile from her face, but it was difficult, especially since her twin brothers, Kylo and Milo, kept discreetly poking each other in the ribs, testing their abilities to remain serious during extreme laughable moments. She rolled her eyes, not paying much attention to the conversation happening before her. That is, until her mother began introducing them, "This is Lani, she is eighteen, and the twins, Kylo and Milo, who are thirteen" she snapped her attention back to the conversation at hand and replied, "Welcome to our home, Queen Senya. It is truly and honor to meet you"

((ooc: no prob, Kendi! BTW, if you have any ideas for this, please let me know.)) Senya nodded slightly to the adults' introductions, but focused on the children when Leia introduced them. "This is Lani, she is eighteen, and the twins, Kylo and Milo are thirteen." It was obvious that the boys' joking around hadn't gone unnoticed by their mother, who looked extremely patient for the situation. "Welcome to our home, Queen Senya. It is truly an honor to meet you." The oldest, Lani, replied to her mother's subtle hint, her dress wrinkling in a small breeze. Of the three young ones, she looked like she had the most potential and was definately one Senya wanted to get to know. A corner of Senya's red-and-white-painted lips twiched--the best of smiles she'd been able to summon since the fall of the Republic--as she raised an eyebrow. "I am sure it is. It seems that politics and twins run in the family after all." She didn't know where that phrase had come from and silently scolded the Force for making her say that. "We would love to discuss other things than politics, but we must speak before your senate immedeately. We were lucky to have made it this far alive and without loosing more escort pilots than we did." The switch to the royal "we" was now second nature next to her attunement to the Force and it had an effect on Leia's behavior, turning her into the Chief of State she was. "If you don't mind my asking, Your Highness, who would bother to attack the cruise ship of a planet previously invisible to the rest of the galaxy?" Lani inquired, ignoring the look both her father and Uncle Luke gave her. "Stormtroopers." Senya replied and let it go at that. This girl was just like her mother in the way she phrased a personal question into a political one, though in truth it gave Senya a mental hedache just thinking about it. ((ooc: If you want something disasterous to happen on the way to the Senate building, please feel free to go ahead. FYI, Senya still can use the Force in extreme situations, but refuses to take up the title and the lightsaber of a Jedi.))

Lani twitched a little when the queen uttered the word, she had learned from her mother how her father and uncle had disguised themselves as Stormtroopers in order to rescue her from the then-violent grasp of her grandfather, the infamous, and famous, Anakin Skywalker. She tried to knock the story out of her mind, because, like many girls her age, it stirred within her the romanticism of fantasy. That behavior was something her mother would definitely not want her to adopt as she was presented to the queen. She had already made a risky step in ignoring her father and uncle. She was probably going to receive a lecture after that one... Lani snapped back to the present when something made a good-sized ripple in the Force. She put her hand on her lightsaber her uncle had made her for self-defence purposes and took a deep breath. Her heart stopped beating for a while, someone was just behind her! Whirling around, Lani brought out her lightsaber, along with her uncle and brothers. However, as she spun, Lani tripped on her skirt and fell to the floor. The Stormtroopers took advantage of the opportunity and shot at the group. Lani felt a searing pain on her shoulder, yelped, and grasped it. Stupid dress, she thought, it's always getting in my way. She tried to stand, but her mother brought the girl into her arms, "Are you alright, Lani?" she asked, seriously concerned.

((ooc: sorry it took so long for me to post! I've been sick all weekend with the flu, so I wasn't allowed near the computer, let alone off the couch. BTW, there's this new guy who wants to join in, but i can't remember his name right. If he pmed you, do you think we should let him in? Seems much better than certain "R". OOOOHHHH! Tia! i've got a great idea for Lani. What if what she saw wasn't real but a vision from the Force? I wasn't too sure what you meant there, so i'll treat it like it was real for now, but if you decide to make it like that, feel free to let me know.)) Senya wasn't certain where the Stormtroopers had come from, but that didn't matter now. She'd been blind to what the Force was trying to tell her and now Lani was hurt. Security guards tried to hussle her away from the comotion, but one glance at Tapinou told him that she was going to help, queen or not. Luke was already working on the group, but more were coming from different sides, soon nearly filling the landing platform. The Force surged to her hands at Senya's command, creating a humming field temporarily around her. Several security guards stepped back, feeling the change in athmosphere around her. She may not use a lightsaber, but she never lost her use of the Force, which could be even more deadly. Letting the power surge forward, Senya let the Force shove dozens of Stormtroopers off of the deck, keeping it from knocking Luke and the others off as well. Closing her eyes and satisfied that the rest of the deack could be taken care of, she sent her awareness forward, following the Stormtroopers' life-trails back to the ship they had come from. It was only big enough to hold five brigades and wouldn't cause much fuss if it suddenly exploded; it was just now returning to orbit. Senya sent herself deeper into the Force, letting her mind flow along the vital parts of the ship, neatly severing the safeguards on the torpedoes, causing them to explode. A fierce burst of light caused Senya to open her eyes again and look at the sky. Just past the athmosphere, the ship had exploded harmlessly into thousands of little fireballs. If she didn't know that they would be following her, she would have saved the ship, but she'd known weeks ago where they'd come from. A sly glance at Luke showed that he hadn't a clue that she'd made the explosion, which was what she'd intended. All she'd tell them was that she had a minimal use of the Force and they would have to deal with that for now. Several dock officials rushed up to the platform, some showing the badges of medics who immedeately swarmed around Lani. "I'll be fine, mother, really," she was grumbling, kindly shoving her mother a little farther away. "Leia, I think we'd better discuss this indoors now." Han muttered, but it was loud enough for all those nearby to hear him. Senya stepped closer, forcing the two to return their attention to her. "I am afraid that that will be safe for only a little while longer. The Stormtroopers have done this with our security systems before and we have barely driven them off. I am not so worried that your planet would suffer the same fate, but if past experiences are our teachers, I would prefer to adress this with you quickly and then take my leave back to my planet." "We'll see what we can do." Was the only reply Leia would give her. ((ooc: BTW, Magyk, I'm just waiting for Tia's response before i give the okay. Lani's her char, so she has the final say in this. You're fine by me, though. Tia, as you can see, i hate working in politics. My writing may be a little rough, but please bear with it.))

ooc: Magyk, the story line is fine by me, but I was wondering what you meant by "in exchange for info on the Jedi". Is Lani expected to rat on them or something? Senya, your writing is awesome, no worries there... Lani looked at her mother, "Mom, can I come?" Leia hesitated, but, by an encouraging nod from Han, agreed. Lani felt a searing pain shoot up her bandaged arm, but only cringed slightly at it. She followed her mother and father, leaving her twin brothers behind, and wondering what on earth had happened back on the deck. The pain was real enough, but none of the Stormtroopers touched anyone else, which really threw her off. Not to mention the tremendous Force surge from the Queen of Naboo, where in the galaxy had that come from? Lani shook her head wonderingly as they approached the doors to the Council Room and she took her place beside her mother, listening attentively to the conversation taking place. She would definitely use these self-taught skills when the time came... ooc: I like the idea that the Stormtroopers that attacked were not real... What could it lead to, though, I wonder?

Maybe you could send that to Magyk so he can get some ideas. I'm only going to do a little bit because I'm in the public library and can't take up too much time.))
"Mom, can I come?" Lani's question caught even Senya off guard and she watched the girl's parents intently. Once Han nodded, the girl stood up with only a slight wince, which showed incredible amount of control.
Senya didn't waste any chances once the doors were closed and began explaining the situation. "Almost three months ago, one of our outer villages was attacked by Stormtroopers, though we did not know about it at the time. We managed to capture one alive, though, around two days after the incident and obtained information about a sizable fleet left over from the destruction of the Death Star. When the Trooper was sent out, they were ready to begin their plan on retaking what planets they lost."
"That's ridiculous!" Han interjected, a scowl on his face. "I saw that thing blow up with my own eyes! How could there be anything left after that?"
"Have you thought of planets where the Empire might have kept secret battalions in case of a defeat like this?" When no one countered that statement, Senya sighed and let her formality drop for the first time. "I know it seems unbelievable to you, but we did send out scouting parties--three to be exact--and only one returned barely alive. The fleet is there, but Naboo doesn't have any military resources large enough to protect its people."
Luke cleared his throat politely. "The Coruscant records say that your people did fight a war there once and won with the help of the native Gungans."
Senya nodded. "Yes, but that was because we had the element of surprise and the help of two Jedi on our side. I fear that we can't afford to make an all-out frontal assult on the fleet. That's why I've come to you to request your help in protecting my planet."
((ooc: Okay, Magyk, if Tia sends you the list of guy names and you find one you like, you can easily switch to your char's point of view on the other side of the galaxy with hardly a problem. Tia, sorry I haven't added to Just for Fun yet, i can't think of what the message is.))

ooc: Understood, I have no idea what it could be myself... Do you think we could change it to flow better? Or should we keep trying to come up with something?
Lani's ears perked when she heard that the queen might be needing Jedi assitance, "What if Uncle Luke and I went, father?" she asked haphazardly Han shook his head, "Lani, you haven't completed your training yet, it's too dangerous" "Oh, right, and grandfather Skywalker had completed his training when the Clone Wars began" Lani said, folding her arms indignantly, "That was five times as dangerous as this could be, father" Han looked at Leia helplessly, but she only shrugged, "You can't really argue with that, Han" she said, her voice projecting what her husband's voice expressed, "However, I don't think your Uncle Luke will be able to help you out on that one, Lani, you would be on your own" There was only a slight twinge of fear entering her heart, but her voice was firm, "If it means I'll be by myself, so be it" she said determinedly

((ooc: Okay, Tia. I've finally thought of something!!!!! It's going to be short because I have a class I need to get to in ten minutes so I can secure a seat. ;D ;D ))
Senya tried not to barge in on the family's conversation, but when Lani said she didn't mind being on her own, she had to cut in. "You will not be the only inexperienced Jedi on Naboo. During Order 66, a few Jedi younglings managed to get aboard my ship before we left. They have now since found aprentices of their own, but are guarding certain parts of the planet. They have already volunteered their student's skills and I think that they would benefit from your input, Lani Solo." She hoped that didn't give away too much.
That seemed to relax some of Lani's worries and the negotiations moved quickly from there. However, it was too late for them to leave, so Senya had to calm herself down when she was told they would have to stay in the ambassadorial chambers for a night. On the other hand, the quarters she was assigned were probably unknowingly the former quarters of Senator Amidala when she had been representing Naboo just before she died. In a way it helped calm her frazzled nerves, though as a Master she shouldn't have frazzled nerves in the first place.
As soon as she was left alone with her handmaidens, she was taken out of the uncomfortable robes and slipped into her planet's traditional garb: a loose-fitting, cream-colored shirt and leggings that allowed her body to move freely. Despite the circumstances, when she looked out on the nightscape of Coruscant, she felt a certain calm within herself. Somehow it felt like she was standing with Arnen again, though her soul hadn't been at peace since he died.
Suddenly, there was a beep at the door and they slid open to reveal Lani standing there sheepishly also in relaxed garb.
((ooc: okay, Tia, What happens next is entirely up to you. I'm still a little not used to what Lani would say or not, so you're the best judge of that!))

A 5000 foot warship exits warp space in high orbirt around the Planet of Naboo. On the left and right side of the ships is painted in bright red letters "Black Raptor Armed Forces: Death Dealers"
Rex290 looked out for the bridge of his ship towards the planet "i've heard of stories of this planet, but never been here" he said to him self as he looked at Ko his third in Command.
"Ko, get my Dropship ready, i would like to speake to the Queen and the Jedi that are with her is my scaners prove that their are jedi on the planet" he said looking at the lightsaber on the table next to him.
"its been a long time since i saw a jedi" he said to him self picking up the weapon and placeing on his belt below his armor and walked towards the door to head towards the hangar bay

ooc: I don't know how often I will be able to get on here, since my comp's down (I'm useing my Dad's laptop) and i'm working on a play at the moment. Sorry about the inconveinience...
It was as if Lani's mind had gone entirely blank as she looked at the senator from her position in the doorway. "Sorry to disturb you, Senator Senya" she forced herself to say, how could she explain about the strange whisp of a vision she a had just received not five minutes ago. Why was she not telling her mother instead of this woman she hardly knew? "You know that episode with my shoulder earlier today?" Senya nodded, "Well, I saw a troop of Stormtroopers invade the hallways during that time, it was all so real that I actually felt the pain in my shoulder when one of them shot me there. I saw something else as I was on my way to bed tonight and something will not let me be until I tell it to you" An awkward pause followed the statement doggedly, "We can't go to Naboo in the morning...."
ooc: I was thinking that there could be an ambush waiting for them on the way there and they probably have to go a different route or something or maybe Senya could even ignore Lani and Magyk's plan could ensue.... what do you guys think?
