Well, true, but the planet's overpopulated by humans, anyway. Not that I'm trying to be mean or anything, or that I don't care, but it's just fact. And due to that, eventually, humans will begin to die off anyway, sooner or later, as I see it.

Either that or take to outer space and find other worlds to populate. Despite all the trouble they've gotten themselves into most of them have come a long ways. *sighs* More places should be like Dinotopia...

Yeah, sure, mess up other planets, moons, etc.

Yeah, sure, mess up other planets, moons, etc. Yeah, not quite sure humans should start to get to other planets since we can't even take care of this one... However, I have no objection towards polluting the moon. It's not as if it's going to damage the ecosystem there or anything. In fact, that's probably the best place to put our industries. There and in orbit. Now, all we need is an efficient way to get stuff up there. - Aric

Yes, but... so much for being on earth and looking up at a beautiful full moon. That idea's gone down the chute.

Maybe it won't change too much.
The problem I see with putting industrial buildings on the moon (Besides getting it up there) is that there could be a huge accident, and the industrial waste could rain down on Earth. Most of it would be destroyed before getting here (most likely all) but there is still the chance of it happening. Also I heard a theory that the moon would break away from our orbit eventually, and if we had our industry up there...that'll go with it, along with anyone working it.

The moon's orbit isn't perfectly circular. It's slowly drifting away. Back when the Earth and the moon were still forming, the moon was a lot closer than it is now. It'll be hundreds of millions of years for the moon to drift away that far. It won't be some sort of catastrophe where it suddenly breaks away. - Aric

It won't be a catastrophe?! Of course it will! The moon controls the waves dosen't it? ....alright, so maybe it won't be...but I'm only saying that because I don't remember what affect it has on the ocean waves when it breaks away.
But if we did have a major industrial complex on it, we would lose it, so hopefully it wouldn't be holding anything important or unreplaceable.
