Other than the deciduous plants that dot the temprate parts of the Island, what species thrive in, say, the Rainy Basin? Does anyone know of any Dinotopian-aged plants from way-back-when?

In the Dinotopian Digest Novel: Rescue Run (Or Rescue Party, I can never remeber it even though I have the book...wait...*goes to look it up in Google* Ooh, I love Search Engines. Yes, it's Rescue Party Rescue Party.
It mentions something about there being poisonous berries of some type and they mixed it in with their smoked eels and fish to give the chasing carnivores a stomach ache they wouldn't forget. Whether it worked or not, I'm not going to say because I don't want to ruin it for the readers who want to read it. Unfortunately, I forget what it's called, so you'll definitely have to read it. ^_^
And there are all kinds of fauna in the Rainy Basin. I'd imagine there are cyprus, large wildflowers, cattails, all sorts of good stuff. Perhaps some imported Sunflower Seeds?
There are also some plants that are on the Outer Island somewhere west of Culebra I believe. One that, I believe, gave this kid amnesia, or it could have been the hit on the head that gave him amnesia? Not sure. Anyway, it made his hand swell horribly. *shudders* And it was semi-alive, kind of like the Venus Fly-Trap...only this was more like a Venus Bird Trap. Or something like that.
You can find that information in: Survive! Of course, since I have the books (just not with me at the moment) I can find the information, write it down and come back Monday and let you know if you like.
I'll post another topic concerning Dinotopian Plants, especially as this one will most likely be pushed off the page by Monday *laughs* I can't get to you sooner beacause I have to go to the library to get on the internet.
Very good question, Rusty.
