When you mentioned Peizoelectric properties, did this come from the books, or did you make the connection yourself?
Also, there were a couple of spelling errors:
"The specific gravity (the ratio of the density of a gemstone relative to that of water) is 3.6 and all sunstones have Piezolectric properties."
Forgot an "e" in Piezoelectric.
"This belief is completely untrue and holds no trace of voracity."
That should be "veracity.
Also, the link to the Piezoelectric site no longer exists. They seemed to have changed it since the main site is still there.
Here's something about this section:
"When fleeing the destruction of Poseidos, Ogthar gave his entire treasury, including sunstones, to the Giganotosaurs in exchange fro safe passage through the Rainy Basin."
I thought the Tyrannosaurs ruled the Rainy Basin until the Giganotosaurs wrested power from them relatively close to the time Arthur Denison makes it to the island. At least that's what I thought Bix was trying to say. After all, the legend said Ogthar entrusted it to another "king," which turned out to be Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Its in the book, page 95 of 'The World Beneath'. Az stopped updating the registry a long time ago so I'm not sure if she wants to correct that. She stopped updating it because she felt Dinotopia had become an obsession and was taking up too much time she should be devoting to God... Its a pity, I really like the site but alas she has to do whats the right thing for her of course. Are you sure you're referring to a piece written by Azzy? The only piece about sunstones I see at cityofmists.com is Stefan's 'Sunstone theory'. BDSP Vorchia

I'm lost.
Someone please point out these articles to me and, well, explain what piezoelectric means. :-)

You´re welcome Aric. Stouthorn, he was asking about Stefan's sunstone essays at www.cityofmists.com/Registry/Library.html Just scroll down, its in the ´history and science´ section. As for piezoelectric, try wikipedia en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PiezoelectricI didn´t know it myself either, I´m doing bio and chemistry, NOT geology. ;D If you want MORE information, write mr Gurney and ask, he likes getting mail. The contact info is at dinotopia.com. I acutually got a Chandara postcard when I wrote him. bdsp Vorchia
