I hadn't noticed this before, but if you look at how the Secretary of Treasury spelled his name....it looks like there's a certain stereotype about certain people controlling the money here...don't know why I noticed that of all things... (no, I'm not anti-semetic!) And that's a really good counterfeit! If it wasn't for the mark from the marker, I woudln't be able to tell it was a phony!

Dwaggie, whats scary about Euros? I know its pretty scary that all the prices in Europe spontaneously doubled after its introduction and that the politicians deny it but that would hardly have affected you I think...
I also don't understand Az comment about 'greenbacks' and 'wanting the old money back'... As far as I know your currency and its design hasn't changed in ages.
You're not supposed to be able to leave a mark on a 20 dollar note?

The though of the whole world with one currency.
Of course the US will never accept or change over to Euros from the US Dollar. You know what this is leading to. And I ain't going to open that can of worms. (Touchy subject)
And for the fake $20. There is a way to tell if it is real or fake without the marker. Hold the bill up to the light, and look for a water mark that is inside the bill. It should be a thin line with the words of the bill on it. Look closely in the line it should say Twenty USA on the line. If you see that, the bill is real. if you don't . Get rid of it 'cuz you could get into trouble having it. I got this info from the bank in town. The counterfeiters can't recreate that watermark. A nice tip from the bank. =D
I think I've already mention this earlier in this thread.
