He does always seem to be thinking because he has a habit of putting his hand beside his face. Oftentimes, he lays one finger alongside his head and closes his eyes as if deep in thought. It really is cute.

Beautiful little bundle of joy, Buttercup! Congratulations to you and your husband. I was suprised to see the bruises but then I guess they can get bruised while inside as well. Hope he is doing fine and the bruises have healed by now!

Ah, the bruises were the reason that I had to have a C-section...he was trying to come out ear first rather than the normal way, so, yeah, they did look a little bad but they were gone completely by the time he turned 3 weeks old. I can't beleive that he already almost three months old! He sure keeps me so busy that I haven't even really had a chance to visit my friends here and I miss that. I have to sacrifice precious sleep time to visit from now on, but all you guys are worth it! Obviously i won't be around as often, but I will be here! I couldn't stay away from this looney bin for too long!
