I come to inform you that this may be the last time I post at this form. It's because of the resent hacker problem that has arisen. And if you have to go by putting it so we have to use a password to get in certain topics, then will it. Because I can't remember the passwords people give me. The only way I can remember a password is if I make it up. It would have to be of something about me or my way of living so that I can remember it. Nothing with numbers in it. 'cus I'll forget to put the number on. So that's my thoughts on this for the time being. I hope you find WHO-ever it is thats doin' this and report then to abuse. I have a site my ISP gave me where I can lookup IPs, E-Mails and etc. to see if they are real and not spam. I don't want to put a link here because it would give that hacker an advantage over all of us here. So Azonthus or you Vorchia want this tool E- Mail me. And I will give you the link.
ADIOS, For now…

Hey I'll only password it if he manages to get in still. I sboubt he will as the signups have to be admin approved now. Don't worry too much. I suck at numbers too and I absolutely loathe idea of having to password it as it'll reduce any 'easy access' to zero. I don't think the hacker will be back. Well here's hoping anyway.

Why don't you just make your own password then? It's not hard, you just go to modify profile in your profile page. Where it says password, just type in the one you want, and type it again in the box below it, click modify, and your done. Your own password.

I wasn't talking about THAT password.(I'm already familiar with that one) I was referring to if Vorchia would make each topic to have a password. She said she wasn't, so that's good.

She was going to do/did what?! Wow, even I would be annoyed at that. I must have missed her saying that.

With the new precautions our mods are taking it's highly unlikely any hacker will be coming back. Every place on the net has had at least one troll/hacker problem. I believe if we support each other (stand together) we can overcome any obstacle the internet may throw our way.

Gawds, everywhere I go, I have to hear about hackers. At my forums and within my community, and within this one, as well. It's enough to drive someone insane. Why won't these people just get a clue and freakin' stop it? Don't they have anything better to do with their time? What are they trying to prove? That they're the most bad_ss people on the planet? It's just a computer, guys. Wrecking the online world for others is not wrecking their lives. You are not all-powerful by any means. Get a freakin' clue.
(I apologize for my bad word there, but I'm kinda mad here.)

The only thing on a hackers mind is to make mischief, cause trouble to people and, try to control everything. And their is nothing anyone could do to stop them. Even the FBI can't stop them from hacking into there system. And they have the highest security in the world. I know because I know someone WHO works for the FBI.

I only offered the password option as a last resort, I hate the idea too as its both annoying for the members and will do nothing to increase easy accessibility or encourage newbies. >_< I wouldn't like to do it. Its the last thing I still COULD do to stop the hacker but well, its not going to happen unless tings go really, really desperate. (Besides you'd get the absolutely hillarious if somewhat sad image of me forgetting the password then have to sit on the doorstep untill someone ELSE remembers, heehee.)

No worries, That's why I like to have my computer memorize passwords. But I can't do that now, cus I not using my computer now. But at soon as they get the power restored in my town I should be able to. If I don't keep deleting my cookies. if that happens I loose the passwords the computer saves.

Save them all in a word document using notepad, Word, or one of those. That way if your cookies do go away you'll still have them all somewhere as a reference.

I have a habit of losing those too. Because when I get a computer problem I have to use system restore and anything I've done between that date and now gets wiped clean. And I don't have anymore CDs to put anything on either.
