~ If being good were the law… ~
It would be a gross understatement to say that, to live a life well worth living in such as I propose; it would take radical changes in the laws and guidelines that run nearly all the governments of the world. In fact nearly all the laws would have to be changed - or completely thrown out the window all together - if the society that needs to come about is ever to bear fruition proper for everyone to benefit from it. The new society I propose will be one of total and unadulterated peace; and the laws that people govern themselves by these days is cancerous to peace. Everyone demands voice, whether they be right or wrong; and every issue they hold voice over makes life for everyone else all the more complicated. This new society will be one of profound simplicity, where people will live in harmony with one another. There will be few people voicing discord because many of the problems with governments today will be all but eliminated; and those voicing opinions will learn to use a greater wisdom so their voicing will be of a more constructive vein.
Many of the laws currently in place is so detrimental to the society that needs to gain a foothold that it would be difficult at best for this society that is well worth living in would no doubt never take place. The laws of today are complicated and denote slight differences in meanings on many plains of justice, so much so that the reasons why the laws were implemented in the first place becomes lost and vague. Laws need to be simplistic and cover large ranges of human behavior, where such an affront in general would produce judgment; far ranging to encompass the whole of what the law was meant to represent in the first place, for the rest of the details would be left to the judgments of the persons doing the judging. It would thusly be prudent to replace all the laws in the world, no matter how obvious or redundant, with these simple yet profound guidelines; guidelines that make perfect sense in a society that is well worth living in.
Life in the new age to come would require new ways of thinking about the way a person lives their life, and not be governed by the mindsets that are present in today's life. I therefore propose, in this posting and the ones following it, a long list of credos and requirements one must adhere to in order to exist in the civilization that is well worth living in. In the interim of implementing these rules, these credos may be edited and/or added to as required for the smooth running of the community; and be otherwise changed as prudently and providentially needed…

~ Preliminary Guidelines for the good life ~
It is required that anyone willing to live like us must agree to all guidelines, suggestions and edicts contained within these suggestions. They are only meant to improve people and their ways of life, and not meant to dictate a person's actions; for what is better, bad deeds or good deeds? Failure to comply only means that such people are not ready to make the leap into a better way of life, and perhaps they need to rethink the way they are living now. Said people will be invited back later, after they have reconsidered their lives, and will be invited once again to participate when they are ready to live the life that is well worth living…
The person must not only merely verbally agree, they must actually participate in - and live by - all these guidelines for the rest of their tenure with us. All too often people promise to do one thing and turn around and do another, which is generally the opposite of what they had promised. Here you will be given ample time to adjust to our way of life, and if after a certain period you are not doing things in a proper way; you will be invited to reconsider your tenure with us, and the opportunity to either stay or leave us will be given to you…
It is required that one must agree to behave in a civil manner at all times, being agreeable and willing to listen to the reason of others. You are not the only say in the scheme of things, and sometimes your best laid plans fall flat; which is a direct indicator that your ideas were not the best to start off with, and that outside opinions might have helped. It is said that two heads are better than one, and that many minds make the world go round; and so it's true that it is often a benefit to listen to others' thoughts, and this will make your plans work better. Do not be so arrogant so as to ignore the thoughts of others, for they can provide insight into working out your problem; and make the solution come all that much easier…
It is prudent and wise of you that you must not say anything offensive or hurtful to others at all times. Insults and clever remarks at the expense of others and their attributes only prove that it is YOU that is the inferior party, for this proves ones' ignorance rather than ones' wittiness. It would serve better that you say things that are constructive to that person rather than make fun of that persons' differences…
One must be kind, both in word and deed, at all times. It is a good thing when a complete stranger greets you kindly and wishes you a great day; and the feeling only doubles when it is YOU that is doing the greeting. Kindness such as this is the hallmark of peace in a society well worth living in. Clearing the way or tidying up a public area, for instance, shows that you actually care about those around you; and performing any act conscientiously and without the expectation of reward will bring about its' own reward…
One must be helpful, both in word and deed, at all times. Constructive suggestions and minor services to others without expectation of reward will always bring reward to you; for no kind act goes unnoticed or unrewarded. That vital reward will consist of the kind deeds that could be bestowed upon you, for kind deeds return to their giver…
It is required that one must not think ill of anyone, despite ones' personal opinion of that person; for untoward opinions of anyone are not very productive. Though it is true that there may be some aspects of other people that may be loathsome or disagreeable to others, but to actually voice those dislikes shows the animosity still present in a person's soul. It is much more profitable all around that one learn to tolerate the other, and find aspects of that person that is liked; for it is a much better state of affairs when one likes another than when he hates the other…
It is required that all people tell the truth at all times, for verbal honesty is the hallmark of trustworthiness. No longer will the act of lying be tolerated at any time, for the only animals that find it easy to tell a lie are humans. Every other creature takes all things as truth, and they never try to portray things as anything other that what it is. We as humans should follow the edicts of other creatures and tell the truth because it would make our lives a whole lot easier…
It is imperative that all people perform the tasks they say they will do, and do them to the best of their ability; for such acts denote conscientiousness and pride in ones' work. Honesty at work is the backbone of a viable society. If each person does their job and does it well, then everything in a society will work smoothly. One should not neglect their jobs, or leave out vital details that would make the job harder; for this would make things more difficult for everyone else, and ultimately come back to you as unsavory reprimands…
It is required that all people learn the virtues that make society a viable institution, and practice them on a daily basis. It would be better for everyone if everyone be more honest, courteous, kind, forgiving, compliant and humble; for these virtues serve to make a person more noble, and tends to reduce other people from thinking you are less than a nice person. After all, nice people are what other people are looking for from others; and this is what this society is relying on of everyone if it is to thrive…
One is required to learn to remain in a calm and collected manner so one can think through any problem one might be involved with. A calm mind is a rational mind, and only rational minds can solve problems to any degree of success. Those that panic or jump to conclusions are more than often wrong, and their efforts are either wasted or go totally awry. People that think through situations and convey their solutions without making hasty decisions can expect their solutions to bear fruit just like they had hoped, or it bears fruit even better than hoped…
It is prudent that all people take care in their everyday lives, that safety is foremost on ones' mind when performing their daily tasks. Never be so engrossed in ones' thoughts that one fails to realize what one is doing, for such behavior is how accidents, injuries and death can occur. One must concentrate on what they are doing in order to perform their tasks correctly, and to live their daily lives in the proper way; for it does no one any good to live ones' life in a daze…
One should act in a friendly way towards everyone else, and not act hostile to anyone without valid reason; and it is therefore vigorously required that no fighting or other civil disturbances commence anywhere in our community. One should be able to control ones' temper as well as curb ones' opinions of others; and live among others like everyone aught to, keeping a civil mind among others. Anger is one of the most difficult things to control, but in our community it MUST be controlled if we are to live among each other. This is why it will be extremely frowned upon if anybody gets angry or starts a fight with another citizen, and both parties will be forced to make a mutual agreement and apologies will be expected of both…
It is important for everyone to observe proper hygiene, and be attired in a way that is both neat and functional; and those so adorning themselves may do so as they wish within digression. This would insure proper health and better quality of life, preventing sickness and lessening the need for medical attention. Clothing should also be clean as situations allow, functional for the job and lifestyle one is involved in and sturdy enough to last a long time. Those that desire to wear jewelry or other forms of adornment may do so with digression of the task at hand and to the situation they are in…
Furthermore, it is imperative that everyone maintain their dwellings and their local neighborhoods in a tidy manner; for if the places where you live are filthy, disease and vermin will run rampant. A clean home is a healthy home, and everyone will be required to keep their homes clean and free of pests and other vermin. No free garbage or other clutter shall remain outside homes or inside for any length of time, and frequent inspections of them will be required for any signs of infestation and inordinate squalor. Ones offending this guideline will be required to clean and/or otherwise remedy the offense immediately…
One must take good care of the things they use in daily life. It shows both consideration for others' wishes as well as thriftiness if one maintains their things in a proper way. This allows ones' things to last longer, and provides items in good shape for the next person to use it. One will be required to keep their things in good shape, and only well worn items will be considered for discard; for serviceable items can easily be repaired and reused while broken items can not…
It is required that everyone be compliant and agreeable to one another. Friendly attitudes and cheery dispositions among one another despite ones' personal opinions of people will give the impression of harmony, and make life together in our community harmonious and let our people coexist together in peace. Compliance toward everyone will in turn greet you with peace and calm, for you would be agreeing to everyone, and everyone would be agreeing with you. Do not disagree with someone just for the sake of disagreeing, for the opinions of many will open up vistas of possibilities one would never think existed…
Everyone must be giving and sharing, use what you need but give what you can. Share all you can with the people you meet, and give to them anything they ask. Do not hold back something you are not using at the moment, for it will be returned to you at the time when you need it most. Do not be afraid to ask for something, for it will be given to you if at all possible; and do not be angered if the thing can not be given to you, for it may already be used for something more important than what you might use it for…
Express joy and happiness in daily life, for this is paramount to a fulfilling existence. Smile and be happy, for life is full of wonder; and this joy you can spread throughout the community if they see everyone happy to be here. Do not let the actual living of life get you down, for all these things must come to pass in a fulfilling existence. Rather be happy at what you do, for things such as this make life well worth living in…
Love and appreciate everyone you meet, for their friendship and camaraderie bonds us all together. The peace one would feel if everyone loved and respected each other would overwhelm the senses and lift the spirit if everyone took the effort to do it. We represent the future of mankind on this planet, and so far we have brought about the worst humans can muster; and the primary reason why this came about was we failed to love and appreciate those around us, which is a practice that must be reversed if we are to survive as a species. That is why we must do this now, while there is still time…
Addendum: As you can see, these laws, rules and guidelines follow the ways of ancient wisdom and religious texts; a way that is not readily followed in most venues of law and governments these days, and could be the possible reason why said governments are so corrupt and work against their people. If all governments had only followed such edicts in the first place, then their realms would be in harmony and at peace; not constantly at war with their neighbors and at odds with the people they were assigned to command, not to mention angered at their governmental neighbors. In this society it will be the people that matter the most, not the government that would run it; more so, the government in this society would not matter so much as the people that live there, for people make the country the way it is - not the other way around. If these rules, laws and guidelines were truly in effect, then all mankind would be able to develop and grow as they always were meant to do...

~ Further Guidelines for the good life. ~
It is required that adults in this society teach their children the wisdom needed for living among us, and council them in their everyday problems. The children are our future, and it is our solemn responsibility to instruct them in ways productive to our society. All of us have our own personal wisdom, things we learned from the lessons of life; and we must teach that to our legacy as well, for how else will they learn to be evolved adults without our guidance? Therefore, it is necessary to teach out children well; and anyone neglecting this fact will, in turn, be counseled in the matter by others of the society…
All children must be taught both basic and advanced academic subjects, and be instructed in all aspects of living in our society. It is strictly advised that we, as parents, make sure our children not only be educated in academic matters; but also be taught the wisdom we use in everyday life, and so forth to their children. We will not be a society of uneducated people, and our children will be taught these things as adults were taught; but not only will they be taught this, they will be taught everything else necessary to facilitate the harmonious continuation of our society…
Children showing signs of excelling in certain subjects are to be encouraged in them, and those lacking in certain subjects must be instructed in special ways so they may advance in them. There will no doubt be the gifted among us, as well as the dullard in the group; and each of them must be tutored in ways that will be beneficial to both them and the society, for it is known that all people have their gifts no matter their mental capacity. Those that have special capacity for special abilities will be instructed to use them better, and what they are lacking in other subjects will be magnified with instruction. Those that are not gifted in many things will be tutored and shown other ways to relies their talent potentials, and guided into useful places in our society…
All new arrivals who are adults must be instructed in our way of life, our philosophies and our wisdom; and to be taught as children are taught so they may be successfully assimilated into our society. As it is known, adults have a harder time learning than children, for most adults are set in their ways and beliefs; and this is why special consideration will be taken with these people so they may learn at a rate that they are most accustomed to. We realize that certain mistakes would be made by them, and their misconceptions of how our society is run will make their assimilation a difficult task at best; but we are a caring and understanding people, and will work with these adults so they can make the change to our way of life a smooth and pleasant experience…
Children students who fail in their studies are required to repeat the subjects they are lacking; and thusly, so are the newcomers required to repeat classes they are lacking. It is well known that some people grasp subjects better than others, for no person's academic prowess is exactly the same. That is why students, both children and adults, might need to repeat certain subjects they may be lacking. They would be required to repeat these subjects as many times as necessary until they are proficient at it, for such knowledge may be vital to their living with us in our society…
It is required that everyone adhere to the edicts of wisdom depicted in all ancient text, for wisdom of the ages are pertinent even in today’s' age. Our society is based on the wisdom present in life, and everyone is required to adhere to those edicts if out society is to reach fruition. Those that do not for some reason, whether it be by choice or simple misunderstanding, will be given a choice of either becoming educated in our ways once more or complete expulsion from our society. An inquiry as to why they are acting this way will be held, and the decision of either of these two choices will be made…
Everyone should draw from their own experiences and teachings to solve problems that show up in life; and teach their children to do the same. Every person has their own wisdom, generally brought about from their own personal experiences; and bits of advice given to them by their parents and peers, and other adages learned by their schooling as well as their religious teaching. By drawing on these things, most people are able to overcome many obstacles that show up in life; and by this wisdom can become an even wiser person…
It is everyone's duty to act in a way that best represents their best behavior at all times, which will reflect the way we would want the rest of humanity to see us as. We are a unique people in the world, for we do not follow the edicts so popular with the rest of the world; and it is because of this difference that we are a great people. We must become what we try to be, a people governed by the heart, and one governed by all the goodness that humans are capable of. We must show the world that we are of a better stock than one that would go with the world, and follow them down to destruction like all the rest. We must show them, through our behavior, the ways that are good and right; and guide them through this behavior to the ways that are good and right. Today is a time of wonders and changes, and the future will be even more so; which is why we need to act in a civilized and mature manner at all times. We are the light of the future generations, and we must conduct ourselves in a manner that will show that we are a socially evolved race…
The practice of acting humble is not a sign of weakness, but rather shows wisdom unknown to others; and therefore it is required for everyone to act meek and humble in the performance of their daily lives. It is no liability to act meek when in the performance of ones' daily life, for many tasks in the community are lowly yet highly prized for the benefits they provide. It is just as noble to till a field, for example, as it is to make the bread or mend clothes or remove the refuse; but these things are necessary to make the community viable and alive, and without these tasks being done the community will quickly diminish. Do not take umbrage at the lowly tasks you perform, but be proud for the fact you are making the community a better place to live by the tasks you perform…
Brashness and headstrong behavior denotes ignorance toward everyone else, and therefore it is strictly looked down upon in this society. It must be repeated that nobody is any better than anybody else, and nobody's opinion matters any more than anybody else's; and it doesn't matter if a certain person thinks so regardless of this fact, for we are all equal and have equal say in the society. Those that insist in an untoward way that they are right or better is, in actuality, wrong for their thinking; and they should be made aware of this fact lest they lose face with others among the community, for their consequence is shame until their attitude are turned around…
The acts of cheating people and lying to them shows a definite lack of respect of others, and will be equally looked down upon. Underhanded acts done upon unwitting people do not prove you are smarter than the one you're cheating, for our society is not meant for other people to take advantage of others; but rather to work together for the common goal of peaceful coexistence, and such nefarious acts only prove how unevolved a citizen you really are. It is much better that you conduct yourself as a cooperative and compliant person rather than a predator with their best interests solely on oneself. Anyone found to be doing such acts will be dealt with, and re-education in our ways may need to be facilitated with such persons…
Equally so, lying about someone and spreading false rumors about someone shows a lack of respect to that person, and this act will be looked down upon as well. It is permissible to tell something truthful to someone or about someone, but lying about that person or telling something hurtful without good reason or without that persons' permission is not; however, under unheard of circumstances (Like of an event where the person in question had done something wrong and the like.), the telling of said events is permissible. Those who tell something completely false about another person is wrong, and shows a lack of regard for that person's integrity; and those liars will be dealt with accordingly, less strongly if the falsehood is a mistake and more seriously if it is said with malicious intent…
Causing situations that are hurtful to others, whether it be physical or psychological in nature; and whether it be a mistake or done with malicious intent, is not going to be tolerated in this society, and will be dealt with most vigorously. Acts of mayhem that cause potential bodily injury or meant to discredit others will not be tolerated, whether or not the act seems vindicated to the one doing the offending or not; for it is better that both parties get together and work out the difficulty than creating a situation that could be hurtful to others not even involved in the dispute, not to mention the people in question. It is another issue having to do with peaceful coexistence, where those that have issues with others are to solve their problems in a peaceful and civilized way; and not doing it by carrying out a vendetta, causing pain and discomfort for the one making the perceived offense. Anyone causing, or being remotely involved with such events will be dealt with most vigorously, and they will be required to work out an amicable and peaceful solution…
Taking something without permission is still stealing, even though taking something from someone WITH permission is not; but if the former is true, they are required to return the thing with an apology, and they will be dealt with accordingly. It is true that you should take what you need, and it is true that you should give all you can; but taking something without permission by the one currently possessing it or without that person's knowledge is still wrong. That person might need that thing, and would be hard pressed if it would turn up missing; and why is your need of that object more important than that of the person currently in possession of it? Furthermore, if it is found that another person has another object that replaces the one you need and is not being used by that person, then you could have used that one instead; and this proves you did not explore all your options in procuring the object you need. It is best all around that you should ask that person for the thing you need, and if it is decided that his or her need is not as great as yours then you may use it if it is so agreed. Those that take something without permission will be required to give explanation, apology and return their disputed object immediately…
One is responsible for the work they promise to get done, and one must comply with that promise; for if everyone says they will do this or that task and nobody does those tasks, the society will slowly grind to a halt. It is a true credo that one has to do what one has to do, and it is also true that one has to do what one promises to do; for work that still needs to be done is more pressing than work that has already been done, and the one whose job it is to get it done must get it done. One should do what they promise and not shirk the work, for things need to be done; and those whose destiny or profession it is to do it should not lay back and not get it done, for many people rely on getting it done, and the disappointment of not getting it done will fall on many. That is why the dereliction of any promised work will not be tolerated, and the party concerned will be dealt with accordingly by giving apology to both the ones the task was promised and the ones that had to do the work in said person's place…
If one has a problem, no matter how monumental or trivial, he or she should talk it over with a friend, a relative or other person. Expressing a problem to someone helps bring about a solution to that problem, and retards the tendency of that problem to fester and grow too large for that person to cope with. Failure to cope with a problem results in that problem becoming bigger and bigger, and soon that problem could effect the entire community. It is recommended that anyone that has a problem talk it over with someone, and maybe with their input, a viable way to cope with the dilemma may be found… Policies that are detrimental to our way of life will no longer be in effect. All rules and laws that do not correspond to our way of life, or make living here hard or impossible, will no longer be followed. Anyone who does not follow our guidelines, preferring to live using the policies they have been living with or the laws of their countries of origin, will be re-educated in our way of life, and have the option put upon them to leave our community. Any country that tries to usurp our way of living, or tries to introduce their policies upon us, will not be permitted; rather, they will be invited to join us, and allowed to experience our way of living through peaceful negotiation…
Policies that are detrimental to our lands and property will no longer be in effect. Policies that promote pollution and destruction of public lands, such as undue earthworks projects, deforestation for any extreme purpose or private business endeavors; will not be tolerated, put to a halt and prohibited in the future, most vigorously if necessary. Our land and the resources upon it are precious, and should be conserved to the best of our abilities; and no personal or public act or policy is strong enough to supersede this design. Anyone caught violating this guideline will be dealt with, and their project will be abandoned by them after setting right the destruction already caused…
Policies that are detrimental to our people will no longer be in effect. Rules designed to cheat the people, or to deal with them unjustly, are wrong; no matter whether they are implemented in the private sector or condoned by the governing body, and will no longer be tolerated in our society. Those found performing said policies will be dealt with accordingly, whether they be of the governing class or on a personal basis; and thorough reconciliation of the affair will be mandatory procedure. It has been going on too long in civilizations around the world and throughout time, and will be brought to a halt in this society. Rather, rules and policies are to be in a vein that are fair and just to its' people; implemented with wisdom and prudence so they are helpful to the ones the guidelines are for, and fair for all concerned…

~ Continued guidelines for living the good life. ~
Devices and technologies that are detrimental to our way of life will no longer be used. Things that are dangerous to the way of life that is well worth living will be considered obsolete, and will be discarded from use. Anyone found out using such items will have said object taken away, their explanation of their use of their thing and council on proper use of alternative items will be mandatory procedure…
Devices and technologies that are detrimental to our land and property will no longer be used. Things that are dangerous to people and destructive to home and property will no longer see servitude in our community. Anyone found out using such items will have said object taken away, their explanation of their use of their thing and council on proper use of alternative items will be mandatory procedure…
Devices and technologies that are detrimental to our people will no longer be used. Items that are dangerous to people will no longer be in use in our community. Things like blades and guns and other conventional weapons will be banned in our community, only being utilized in defense of our community by professionals. Even though every day items, and thusly anything, can be used as weapons; their proper uses will be strongly recommended, and council in their proper use must be undergone. Persons so using weapons or every day items as weapons will be severely dealt with, and immediate expulsion from our community may be judged upon. Furthermore, any object or device that is proven dangerous to humans will no longer be utilized; and alternate and safer forms of said device or object will be devised…
From now on, wise council will determine the motives of man. No longer will vain pursuits or petty desires define mankind's destiny, nor the pursuit of personal gain or power; for there are far better things we could be doing than we are doing right now. In this impetus, wisdom in counseling people will be the sole goal of those guiding us in future endeavors; and this will lead us to the fulfillment of our own social evolution. One is required to draw from our own personal wisdom, as well as the personal wisdom of those around us, to Sheppard one to logical and peaceful solutions to lessons concerning the living of life and life in general; negligence of this policy being the failure of said person from succeeding at the problem and failing at future problems in life. Thusly it is also required that all persons, when seeing another going through a dilemma, must offer their wisdom to said afflicted person; perhaps rendering their problem an easier solution and relieving that person the weight of the problem they currently possess…
From now on, generous deeds will propel people through life. Acts of assistance without thought of reimbursement is an act of noble intent, and thoroughly appreciated whether it be voiced or not; and these noble deeds are the hallmark of an equally noble heart. One is required to help one another, and not shirk the assistance; for more often or not it is YOU that might require help in one matter or another, and be hard pressed if the help you need does not come to your aid. It is true what the saying means, that one must give to get; and the same is true with the giving and receiving of assistance, and thusly also required in this society. Those found not giving help, or not performing deeds for others; will be dealt with, and council given on the proper conveyance of generous deeds…
From now on, virtuous ideals will motivate the hearts of our people. People in this society must be driven by the good virtues present in the hearts of all good creatures. Ones like charity, hope, humbleness, helpfulness, selflessness, productivity and all the rest are to replace ones like greed, selfishness, pride, laziness, hopelessness and all the others. With these good virtues replacing all the bad ones, our hearts and spirits will rise above the tasks of our daily lives and conquer everything we do from day to day. One must be instructed in these ways if such virtues are not easily met, and counseling may need to be given to these individuals by all in the community as the situation is detected…
From now on, humble tasks will be the backbone of society. The work a person does denotes that person's integrity, and work done for the good of the whole shows the greatest honor known to man; and we will all work for the combined good of the community, whether the labor be menial or of the most dignified kind. One must work with an earnest heart and contribute their whole spirit behind their labor, for honest work done honestly gives the laborer the highest sense of achievement in the work they do. However, one must not perform their tasks with a proud air, where their labor creates an air of snobbery from the worker and alienates that person from the labor of others; for we are to act exactly as our working station situates us, and not as a person who is too good for the station they currently occupy. Offenders in this area will be counseled in humble aspects and be made aware of their station in life…
Ecological awareness and conservative ways will be the yardstick of the economy. Our total resources will determine the quality of the way we live, therefore it is imperative that we take mind of our ecology, lands and the distribution and management of what we use. If we learn to conserve what we use and not squander it like what was done in the past then everything will last a whole lot longer. The way we distribute the things we need will have to be mitigated more wisely than was done in the past, and the way we use these resources will have to be wisely planned; more so now than ever before, for any other course of action is detrimental to the way our society will be run. Anyone who is discovered to be mitigating their resources unwisely will be dealt with, being required to be counseled on the wise management of their resources…
Reverence toward everyone is necessary for multicultural appreciation, and will be mandatory in our society. Everyone wants everyone else to appreciate them, but in most cases this is not true; and is mandatory in our culture that we show the utmost respect to others, no matter where they come from or what they believe in or any number of thousands of differences that make them all unique individuals in the world. We all have the self conceived notion that we are better than anybody else, and usually demand special attention from all the rest; but if we stop and realize that we are all equally special and no better than anybody else, then we can surely find it within ourselves to accept everyone else for what they are. In this society, it is required that one accepts all the people in the society for what they are, what they believe in and what they can do; and all those that can not accept this will be counseled in the ways to accept others…
Love toward every living thing and respect for their needs will show that we are the stewards of the world, and not that we are their destroyers; for proper management of the world will insure our own survival as well. We are all creatures of the earth, whether we be as big as an elephant or redwood or small as an amoeba or germ; we are all creatures of this planet, and all have their place here, just like us. We claim to be the most intelligent creatures on this planet at this time, and into that, we must claim responsibility for all the other creatures on earth; for if we see ourselves as great as we claim, we must also claim being humble enough to see to their welfare as well. If we take the care to bring the other creatures of earth the regard we show ourselves, then they would take regard to return the same courtesy. Thusly, it is mandatory that all humans on earth care after the other creatures of earth; and all those found violating this by the cruel exploitation of animals and other offenses, will be both dealt with most vigorously and be counseled on the proper care of the earth…
It is totally up to us the changes in society we make, and thusly it is our responsibility to make the best alterations to society as we can. We have the responsibility in our society to make this society the best one devised by man since the beginnings of civilization on this planet, and it is mandatory that we make all the right decisions for the sake of mankind. No other goal is more important than this. The mistakes that man has made throughout recorded time must NOT be repeated, and thusly we shall never forget them and prevent them from happening again. Thusly, if anyone is found that is plotting to send mankind back down the road to social extinction, they will be dealt with the most vigorously of all; where little or no chance of counseling may be given and almost certain banishment from society may be sentenced.
Addendum: Not only do we, ourselves as individuals, need to learn a new way of life; we must also teach our children how to live a life that is well worth living. The way that people currently live their lives, as well as how they had lived their lives in the past, was fraught with problems on the personal as well as the social levels. During the many epochs that civilization grasped a handhold, many wise people devised of ways to live life better; and strived to teach these wise ways to the masses, more often than not their lessons were met with indifference in the least, and utter outcries of protest at worst! The ultimate truth is that if we the people had only heeded the wisdom these wise people had professed, then the whole of civilization would have evolved into the shining example of human achievement it was always meant to be. However, it is still not too late to change the path mankind is on; for where people of vision can still come to pass, so does hope reign eternal for the destiny of man.
We have a chance to make a better world, a world without turmoil and a world without man causing such pain for those around us. We are the light for future generations, for we have conceived new ways of living, ways that have never before been conceived; for this age is an age of new revelations and unsurpassed enlightenment, and we will be the ones that brings this new age about. No longer will peoples' hearts be troubled by life's petty problems, for when life is governed by wisdom instead of turmoil, the every day challenges of life will seem trivial in comparison. When all love and respect each other, the divisions and differences all people possess will become the beautiful uniqueness that is within all people. When people deal honestly with one another, the goodness of honesty will flood the hearts of all who receive it; and when people behave in a trustworthy manner to others people will rest in the relief of other people's trust. When everyone realizes that they are no more or less special that anybody else, they will begin to see their place in the universe; and this humble feeling will bring the ecstasy of knowing exactly where one belongs...

~ Hope inspires you! ~ Give me work to do, give me health. Give me joy in simple things. Give me the special eye for beauty. A tongue for truth, a heart that loves. A sympathy that understands all needs. Give me a heart that has no malice nor envy. But a true kindness and a noble common sense. And at the close of each day, give me a good book. And a friend that I share silence… ~ Unknown ~ _____ T.E.S.

~ A matter of control, ~
To enjoy good health one has to show total control in his habits, the ones that compel him to do destructive things to his health; things like drinking and smoking and bad nutrition and lack of exercise, and hone his mind to curb these desires and change them into more healthful pursuits and practices. To bring true happiness to his family he has to control his life situations, ones that brings forth strife and stress and animosity toward those he loves; and try to reason out the things that is making his life at home miserable, for true harmony at home is the well source of happiness in life, and thusly brings forth happiness to the ones he loves. To bring peace to all that he has contact throughout the day including ones he will probably never meet, one has to control his thoughts to create a healthy environment that all may live in; and shun prejudice and turmoil and strife whether personal or far-reaching, and strive to make all happy and at peace.
Before all this can happen, he has to learn to control his own mind; to discipline it so he has total control over it, and he must learn to curb all of his errant emotions at situations that might make him do rash things. If a man can control his mind he can find the way to true enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him; and through this discovery of himself he can make a world that is far better than the one he would get had he not tried to seek it. To attain true peace one must learn to find it from within, and only then can he learn to express it to those outside himself…

~ Virtues bring on happiness. ~
In the journey of one’s lifetime, faith in all things is nourishment that sustains you through every step along the way; and doing noble and virtuous deeds shelters you from the storms you may encounter along the way, the bastion of hope that protects you from adversity. The wisdom within you as well as the wisdom you pick up along the way will light your way by day, and the attitude of right-mindedness will light your way by night. If a man can learn to live his life in a pure way, then he will be strong enough so nothing can harm him; and if he upholds the righteousness in his own heart, then nothing can destroy him.

~The responsibility of thought and speech. ~
Everything that a man is results from what he has thought, for the man’s impression of the world is the only way he can relate to it; and thusly all that others have observed about that man is a result of what they have thought about him, so it is wise to give the best impression one can lest others think less of you then you may wish. If a man thinks or acts with evil thought or intention, then bad tidings will surely follow him; and the pain of knowing the mist of discord surrounding him will be most painful indeed. If a man conveys only pure thought and deeds, only happiness will follow him; but if his thoughts and deeds are evil in intent, that gloom will follow him like a dark shadow that will never leave him.
One must be willing to accept responsibility for one’s own life, for this creates a source of self respect that no one can tear down; and thusly this will create an aura of respect from others that will create profit in your life, for it shows that you know others as well as you know yourself. To know others is a sure sign of intelligence greater than any ordinary person contains, but to know oneself proves that one has true wisdom. When you learn to master and control others in daily life, it proves you have strength superior to those under you; but those that learn to master themselves and control what they do personally, those are the ones that have surely attained true power,
To know that someone understands you is the greatest feeling in the world, for there is no greater feeling than the glint of pleasure in a person’s eye when they feel that someone understands them; and the pleasure of friendship one feels from a person who is understood by you is unlike anything anybody could ever hope to experience. At this moment something spiritual passes between the two, and the happiness evolves at the relationship of two that understand and sympathize with one another. These are the moments in life that make life worth living, and moments that all people should strive for…

~ Motivation and laziness. ~
Resting on one’s laurels may be all well and good, but it is often wise not to do so for too long; for there are things that need to be done, and sometimes only YOU are the only one that can do it. Often times it is important to motivate yourself on things of the ordinary, like doing the routine things done from day to day; but occasionally there are times that one must motivate oneself only towards worthy and positive goals, goals that will benefit yourself as well as those that are around you. You first begin by visualizing your desires, seeing the goal as already done while you reap the benefits of it’s completion; for this will awaken your energies and drive you to do what ever it takes to make your desires come true.
If one is lazy, he is often unsuccessful; making him a burden on others as well as himself, and worse making his self-esteem seem hard to come by. Laziness may be restful, but it is also the main ingredient in failure; which tricks one to hold something off until another day, making one forget that pretty soon it will be too late. Quite often this problem is unknown to the lazy one, he watching the world go by in his blissful stupor; and so he never really knows that he is failing until it is too late, and woe to him when to his surprise he has failed!…

~ Reaching conclusions. ~
In every civilization created since the notion of other people living together in a group came about, rules and regulations had been thought up on how to organize these people onto a cohesive group of productive and co-operative people; ones who would work as one in order to benefit everyone in that group, especially the ones who had thought up those rules as well as the ones appointed to facilitate those laws. All too easily the civilization created by the founders of them became corrupted, often before the civilization exists long enough to bear sufficient fruition; and those in power often have the audacity to keep this fact a secret long after it is too late for simple solution!
In the guidelines I have already related, as well as the rules that will be added as time goes on and the society matures, I have attempted to regulate human behavior based on moral virtue and fortitudinal strength present in all mankind; a strength that almost everybody fails to notice they have as well as a force most of the rest do not know how to put in practice. These laws are based on wisdom and common sense, a thing that many do not show these days and seldom put into practice; and if all of us and this civilization is to survive, it is a talent we had well better learn before our baser instincts get the better of us and it destroys us all! We are better than we know we are right now, and will become better if we only try; and such is the reason for these codes and suggestions, so we may let our own common sense govern our actions and not our whims…

~ Lies and truths about leaders. ~
Though it may be true in the past that many leaders and persons wiser than the people of their time have devised regimens to put the world into a better order, their plans having proven merit to them and those that they have told; and having gathered believers in their cause, their idea grew until it replaced the credos of law in that particular country. Even though my idea may seem like every other regimen ever devised by man, there are certain things that must first be considered; the major part being the peoples' requirement of solving their own problems, giving them better responsibility for their own lives; a thing that I think immoral to deny anybody, and a practice that should be frowned upon by most countries this day in age - not to mention nearly all forms of governments from times past. Mine would not allow an iron hand to rule over the people, nor deny certain human rights that all free beings enjoy; for mine would be a new civilization of respect, not neglect.
The one thing that shames humanity and disappoints me in the way people conduct themselves is when they seem afraid of the governments they are under, thinking that there is no hope of improvement because their governments are just too strong for the individual to deal with. They reason that there is nothing they can do to improve things, so they keep under the radar, so to speak, and never say their minds about subjects and policies that can and will spell their own personal demise; and just give in to what ever the government says, no matter if it is the worst thing in the world for them or not. People do indeed have a say in how their governments control them, and even though one voice among billions does not really matter all that much by comparison; the addition of many different voices all of the same concerns really can make a difference, and if we all speak up once in a while the governments will listen and we can compel them to govern the people in a way that is beneficial to all.
And it is true that leaders have arisen that are not what they seem, ruling with an iron hand under the flag of peace and unity; and those people failed as all evil governments ultimately fall, for those types of people never prevail for long. There are those whose ideas most need to be heard, and their ways have to be employed in the world; to save humanity of it's folly of being led foolishly and to bring justice and peace to the world. However, the powers that be do not want these things to happen because they are corrupt; and wield all the power at their disposal to see the light of positive change extinguished. Their vision of the world only includes their own permanent continuity, and the oppression of people and their ways; and seek any means to keep things the way they are, for they are in their comfort places when they hold the keys of power. Even though it is often wise to bring down those that would cause more damage to the world if they got into power, it is a crime to bring down those who are only trying to make the world a world well worth living in; but those in power do not want change at all, whether or not it is positive or negative, and would bring down anybody that shouts change too loud - and this may even be the fate of me!...

~ The worth of my guidelines. ~
The guidelines above represent the things I see that is the worst things the governments deal to their people, and sometimes it would be better if the government would allow us to solve many of our own problems; but instead they impose laws that control every aspect of our lives, demeaning our very existence and taking our own personal responsibility away from us. The human race is a proud and resilient species, and we need the challenge of responsibility in order to have the sense that our life is worth while; not be stuck in a situation where responsibility, and thusly the worthiness of life, is taken away from us and forever denied us - we are worth far more than that! Thus is why I proposed these rules and guidelines to a civilization that I think would flourish and thrive, one that far surpasses any single form of government currently in existence or previously came and went. We as a people need a new way to live together, as well as an opportunity to expand our horizons; both in physical ways as well as in spirit, the ways that matter the most instead of the ways currently in use today…

~Other people’s opinions. ~
Of course, nearly every person on earth has their own opinions on what is the right behavior and what is the wrong behavior, many billions of people with just as many opinions; but the truth is there is only a certain amount of people whose opinions really count, and those people are the ones currently in power or those that will be in power in the future. Even within such governments that would allow it, many controversies concerning good and bad behavior among the general population; and arguments both cordial and casual concerning this seems to be an ongoing discussion these days among them. Ever since the time when civilizations first began and all during that time to the modern day, people have been trying to figure out just what is the right behavior among the people and just what is bad behavior; but still people can not come up with a solution that is suitable for every single individual, and arguments still persist.
As it was stated in the body of these guidelines, the people will ultimately rule, and it is up to them to see that all aspects of the society run for the benefit of the people; and that is why they must see to making sure that everyone does what they are supposed to do, and personally see through any problems, both major and minor, that comes their way. They must help maintain civil harmony, govern the aspects of their existence, help others work through the personal problems and the problems of their neighbors, take charge when emergencies arise, work with others to make life better for all, help to defend our way of life as well as the ways of others and do no harm to anybody either willfully or from happenstance. If the current societies had gotten the notion of doing this from the very beginning, there would have been no need to instill leaders with their own notions on how the world should be run; and life for all would be perfect, and the society of man would have evolved to a much higher level than it is today. Though it is true that we of today have improved our technology to near astronomical heights, our wisdom to use these things are so lacking that we are sociologically ill-equipped to wield that power.
People have been suggesting to society the things necessary in order to live together in peace and harmony, yet those suggestions have been falling on deaf ears; for people generally have a tendency to do what they want despite these suggestions, rather doing what ever they please regardless of how other people regard those actions. These suggestions, instead, have either become lost to the annals of time or have become part of the dogmas of the myriads of religions that inadvertently spring up once a spiritual epiphany is perceived in a society. These suggestions were never meant to be worshipped as one does a deity, but they were meant to be LIVED; to be instilled into our daily lives, and worked into our general behavior. We of the society I envision will bring back the morals the ancient wise men have concocted, and teach future generations the right way to live their lives; for the time has come to stop living on our worst behavior and start to live a life that is well worth living!
The conclusion for any civilized society on what is proper behavior is for all citizens to act civil toward one another. We must live to treat other people with respect and kindness, the way we ourselves desire others to treat us; and in no way try to do harm of any kind to one another, for we would be hard pressed if such things should happen to us. There are certain behaviors that are acceptable in a society, and there are certain behaviors that are not acceptable in a society. It is because we live together, whether by force or choice, that rules exist to ensure other peoples rights, as well as the rights of yourself; and this is why the penalties of disobeying these rules are so strict, and other people frowns on the actions of social malcontents. My society would put it upon the citizens at large to try to talk reason to these malcontents to convince them to stop their bad behavior, and maybe through reason and their own guilty conscious’s, they would turn their behavior around and live upstanding lives like they were always able to do. However, most people willing to perform untoward behavior have a tendency to have problems with their conscious, thinking that their way is the best way and possess no remorse; and would continue to do their bad behavior regardless of the intensity of the reasoning, or how many times that reasoning is put to them!…

~ Rights and wrongs. ~
People do not have the right to do wrong things in a civilized society, for if they did have that right society wouldn't be worth living in. People who do wrong things deserve to be punished in certain ways by their fellow citizens, appropriate ways being devised according to the crime done to the community; but in this society, our main form of punishment will be required counseling. The reason why laws were first implemented to show people what is right and what is wrong, and many a council has debated for years on just what was the proper way for people to behave; and many have come up with sets of requirements that all people are compelled to follow, things that they must agree on in order to be allowed to live in that society.
The concept of good and bad behavior can get tainted by what people other than those who originated the laws think is good and bad. This is because some laws go against what those people consider their best interests, even though they do not and their sense of their better interests are skewed to the point of greediness. Ones must not only think about themselves when the concept of society is concerned; for a civilization centers around people as a group, not around people as an individual. These rules are meant to mold people so they can live in harmony with one another, and live the life that is well worth living…

~ Retractions and disclaimers. ~
These laws, rules and suggestions are solely for the purpose of creating a society that is well worth living in, and is in no way detrimental to the laws currently in place in any country in the world. They are solely for my civilization, which is at this point a nonexistent one; but can become possible if everyone wishes it to be. In every aspect of everything in creation, things change; and no less the human condition, probably the only thing we genuinely have control over. If we take the time and effort to make positive changes, positive results will ensue; and we will succeed in making our earthly home, and ultimately ourselves, well worth it. It is not my intention to tout those in power or the countries in which they rule, nor is it my intention to tout the behavior of any single person currently alive on this planet. It is my point that I have noticed a multitude of aspects to humans and their societies that are lacking in certain moral and civil policies that if gone unchecked for much longer, could spell the ultimate demise of the human race. The observations I have made in my life sent me thinking about all these things, and eventually I came up with many of their solutions; and it is in my very nature to write them down and share them with the world, an uncontrollable desire that I had no control over. I formed rules, laws and guidelines that will help people to become better, and to wisely manage the resources humans have left; a thing I observed that we do not readily do these days unless forced to, and things that must be done if we have any hope of survival. These laws of which I have created are meant to remedy most of those problems, regardless if other people recognize them as problems or not; and I set about a plan to help them through these problems, and set about solutions that must be implemented for mankind's own good.
I am extremely concerned with the fate of the human race, for it is their folly that has created most of the strife on planet earth; and it is up to them to help make things right once more, for there is not a creature with enough intelligence and foresight to do anything to help. It would tear at me terribly if the world that humans have created were to sink down into the doldrums of anarchy, for we show great promise as a species; and it would be the ultimate shame to stand back and finally realize that all that all our promise was a great big lie!.. _____
