I can't help it, I do hate it with a passion. I hate it because its so time consuming and expensive to get a licence. I hate having to spend 2000 dollars on lessons during last summer. I hate not having been able to WORK during summer as a result of a completely erratic driving lesson schedule. I hate it that in the Netherlands a complete set of driving lessons is as expensive as two round tickets to the U.S.A. I hate that I haven't been able to go on any vacation because of the driving lessons taking all summer. I hate how lonely my summer has been because of that. I hate how I'm eating into my saved money. I hate that I failed the driving exam twice already and keep having to take new lessons even though college already started and it makes me miss precious class. I hate the fact that it WILL absorb more of the time I desperately need to cram in all the chemistry, histology, statistics, immunology and general biology. I hate how down I get every time I flunk driving. I hate how nervous I get of HAVING to drive and how it effects my driving. I hate the Dutch system where you can only learn to drive with an official instructor making each hour of driving practice 34 eurodollars on average (and currently skyrocketing). I hate the petrol prices. I hate how you must have a dirving licence to be able to get around in this world. I. HATE. DRIVING. More driving lessons tomorrow and Tuesday another exam on Wednesday, please be nice and kill me now.

P.S. I also hate the transmission of the Toyota Corolla, it stands at an angle making it impossible to tell in which gear it is because it ALWAYS looks like it is in the first gear. The stick of the transmission needs to be straight, I don't care for 'fancy looking', I'm all for practical. P.S.S. I know this doesn't belong on the T of P and I should just keep my whining directed at Az's mailbox but I'm afraid she's busy saving the universe or something and she actually LIKES driving......... Its a matter of opinion I guess. P.S.S.S Hey, who smited me? What'd I do?

I can't help it, I do hate it with a passion. I never hated it. I was just indifferent to it. Up until the age of 22, I took the bus. Never bothered with a car or license. I hate it because its so time consuming and expensive to get a licence. I hate having to spend 2000 dollars on lessons during last summer. Yikes. My grandfather taught me for free. I hate not having been able to WORK during summer as a result of a completely erratic driving lesson schedule. I hate it that in the Netherlands a complete set of driving lessons is as expensive as two round tickets to the U.S.A. You could have gone to the STOMP! Hoboy... I failed the first time. Was too nervous. Aced it the second time, though. I hate the Dutch system where you can only learn to drive with an official instructor making each hour of driving practice 34 eurodollars on average (and currently skyrocketing). Hmm. Looks like the government trying to get in on some money action. I wonder why you can't just take the test. Why have a government official while you're learning.... I often extoll the virtue of government oversight, but not to THAT degree... I hate the petrol prices. Don't a lot of European governments put tons of taxes on it? IIRC, there was an attempted protest in England, or something, where they tried to protest high gas taxes, or something. Didn't workout... I hate how you must have a dirving licence to be able to get around in this world. I. HATE. DRIVING. For me, a car allows me to be a bit more flexible. I personally don't spend more on gas in one month than I did on a monthly bus pass. P.S. I also hate the transmission of the Toyota Corolla, it stands at an angle making it impossible to tell in which gear it is because it ALWAYS looks like it is in the first gear. The stick of the transmission needs to be straight, I don't care for 'fancy looking', I sometimes use my Uncle's Corrolla. I have no idea what you're talking about. ~_^ Are you driving a manual transmission? P.S.S.S Hey, who smited me? What'd I do? That's been going around lately. I noticed that Stouthorn, you and myself got smited. I haven't checked anyone else, yet. I corrected it as much as I can my exalting. At first I thought it was because somone didn't agree with what we said somewhere on the board. However, now that you've been hit, I'm not quite sure why it's happening. It might be a troll; one of the folks who signed up but isn't posting, maybe? - Aric

Here you get my point. Yes I could have gone to the STOMP AND pay 80% of the collegemoney of this year just from the money it takes to do the driving!! The government likes to gain money yes, the intrcutors need to pay very high taxes over their income, which makes it even more expensive then the petrol prices alone. The government wants to discourage driving. Yet at the same time it has made the public transport a private business instead of a governmentbusisness. This makes the public transport get reduced on the trajectories where its not making profit and raising the prices according with the market principle. Yes a large part of the petrol prices are tax, there have been protests in The Netherlands too but its all been in vain so far. Yes I drive manual transmission, almost everyone does here. However it coudl be just this specific Cororolla having that stick at an angle. It is NOT normal for a car to have a transmission stick at an angle and I've seen Corolla's with a normal stick. Hehehe, the board owner can see the statistics of smiting. Whoever did it will be found out. BDSP Vorchia

*attempts dragging a semi-alive corpse onto the board* Hey guys. Sorry if I look like I've been through a war. It's a battle zone getting through my house right now! The best way to describe it is... My closet exploded and it did not stay in just my room. At least, that should give you a good idea of what the place looks like. I had a toy show last weekend (BIG flop) and things haven't made it to the basement yet. I was sort of on a computer restriction until I got things cleaned up. Yes, it took me a week to get it all up. Well, not all of it. I sitll have six my little pony play sets and close to 100 ponies in the family room. Boxes in the family room, toys on my floor, pictures hidden behind couches... Eh, I'll live once it's all gone and I get my money back on all this junk.
Vorch, I'm so sorry to hear about the driving license again>_< Evil government. I was close to flunking my test (10 pts off), but the girl was really nice and didn't stress me out at all. At least school has started now and you can get burried in a nice, thick, science project:;D
Gas is going up here too, but it's nothing compared to Europe. That's the worst thing about driving, besides accidentally cutting off people because I don't realize how long my car is>_<. Hey, I've only done it twice! And I'm trying to get a better feel for the length of my car.
Whining can be directed at anyone you wish;) Hey, my mail box (and ear) is always open for a good gripe session, but I do realize that I haven't been around that much lately. What good is venting if nobody hears it?
As for the smiting- it's not a lurker or spammer. I don't think I should go around saying who it is as they have their own reasons and it's been by different people. That's what the feature is there for. Maybe the person(s) doing the smiting would like to state why instead of just giving someone a lower mark. Now, here's what I want to know, since I have been gone for a bit- have peoples karma numbers dropped a lot lately? The only smiting I've seen are Vorch on the 23rd, Stouthorn on the 12th, Aric on the 7th, and Stouthorn on the 5th. I can't see the second page, but I can try looking tomorrow.
Well, I'm off to crash now. Hopefully not literally again- that perm shoppe the other night was hard and hurt my foot!

A hatchet, axe, or crow bar would do nicely in incapacitating the brain. That's the only way to dispatch the living dead. Shooting is preferable, but if that's not an option, then the above suggestions would do nicely. - Aric

LOL Uhh yes well, lets just assume she's alive enough for that to be unnecessary... I mean it'd mess up the floor and everything, all the blood... Well that and she doesn't die easily anyway. I mean how many times did Azonthus almost die in stories and roleplays?? It happens all the time and she always bounces back. And NO Az you weren't around a lot, I was beginning to think you were off on a little family visit vacation! It seems however that the reasons of your absense were less enjoyable then that. Good luck cleaning all those toys up. I fear the mental image of your closet exploding... (If you wish to imagine Az's closet, know that its packed beyond what I would consider physically possible but with great effort and pure will it is possible to cram MORE into an overstuffed closet several times and basically thats what Az does to her closet. The fact that the closet hasn't exploded yet is entirely due to to the skill of the ones who built it, who thereby unconsciously protected the state from drowning in an avalanche of ponies.)

I am more of a vampire than a zombie, so the incapacitating the brain won't work. Besides, school's doing a pretty good job of incapicating my brain anyway. No family vacations- no time or money. A vacation would be wonderful. One's coming up and I can't wait! Of course, that's March. Gurg. You guys want the really, really big reason that I haven't been around? It's one I hate to admit and have been in denial about for a month or so now. The tendonitis is back with a vengance. But the thing I don't understand is it feels like it keeps moving. Different parts of my arm are causing me bad pain, but at random times. It hasn't been in the elbow like it used to be but more like the middle of my forearm. Gah, well, time to get to science. Byes!

Well I KNOW your tendonitis never left completely. You did occasionally complain about it to me at least. Mom's tendonitis passed after a while but the only way to get it to heal fully is more rest then a hyperactive internetaddict like you is capable of . Won't you have a few days of for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year? Look on the bright side, in December you're done with that associates degree of yours. Then you can come here and laugh at everyone elses brains chelating with pure undiluted homework overdoses. ANd yes Vorchia flunked her driving test, encore, this afternoon between two and three. Even the Temple zombies get their licence faster then I. Apparently I don't 'look ahead' far enough. Now looking ahead (around, behind) is something I constantly do while driving... You know the drill, look ahead, look in the mirrors, look besides the car, look ahead again and so forth... They can and will flunk you on small things and it does come extremely precise with the techniques of driving to get your licence in the Netherlands.

*sniffles and cries* WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I had my first wreck today. I got rear ended at a stop sign. The damage doesn't look too bad in the photo, but I'm really upset over it. What had happend was, I was at a corner that is really hard to see around. To the left there are two large phone boxes and to the right are lots of trees. To execute a turn safely there, you have to stop at the sign, pull up a little bit, look both ways, and then go. Well, there was one person in front of me and they went. I pulled up to the stop sign and stopped. I had pulled up a littler further than usual, so I could see two silver SUV's coming from the left and I wasn't about to pull in front of them. Suddenly, I felt and heard a lovely BANG and my car jerked forward. I looked in my rear view mirror and there was a big, black SUV. He backed up into a nearby pull off and I did the same. Anywho, he totally admitted fault and is going to fix it. Since I don't work or have school tomorrow I'm going to get some estimates on it. Just thought you guys would like to see what the car looks like from it's good side. The damage? Dented above the lights, cracked the lights (it's the lighter area) and majorly smashed in the area around the license plate. Part of the back is coming up, but you can't see it in the picture. It also threw the wheels out of alignment (it used to drive perfectly straight without me touching the wheel and now it shudders and pulls to the right).

It's a funny thing here in Hawaii. The person who gets rear-ended is generally given the benefit of the doubt and sided with in court. Even if they backed up and hit the car behind them... - Aric

Owch, poor you! At least all you have is a little metal damage... Metal can be fixed. And you are indeed lucky they guy admitted it. Mom has been hit like that once which sent my little sister flying forward though the car at age 3 and the guy who did it SPEEDED out of there to get away with it. Then there was another incident where mom's parked car had been run into by a motorcycle or something. One morning there were all these motorcycle band-indentitions in the sand where it had slipped and a few nice big dents in mom's car. Neither case was ever settled. So I'm glad you got away so well!
