I'm not going to bother quoting the article because of the way the article is laid out.
Anyway, I noticed that when I bought a lighter olive oil for cooking a year or so ago at Costco, it was specifically labeled as light olive oil, or something to that extent. When I went to get more just a couple of months ago, I noticed the label now said "Mediterranean Blend Oil," and the ingredient list had grapeseed and canola oil, among other stuff. I wonder if this is more awareness on the part of Costco, who owns the Kirkland brand that makes the oil that I buy. Or maybe they always knew, but consumers are becoming more aware? *shrug*
