,Yes I'm sure you all missed me terribly and are so glad to see me back. I had a wonderful vacation with da family (I almost pulled my hair out) And I recieved the most wonderful surprise, Me mum took me to the Dinotopia exibit at the Norman Rockwell museum! I was so excited! But why am a writing this, I could be showing you! So sit back, relax, and enjoy the crazy trip through the mind of myself, well not really, but you get the picture! here we all are at the destination, aren't we cute! and look, horseshoe falls. They are so much cooler from the bottom! see! And then after much touristy things, and such, we left for home, only to stop off at the Norman Rockwell Museum. I looked for you guys, but you were obviously absent. (No, I knew I'd missed Stomp, Curse my parents! J/K!, but I still got to go there!) see, here I be, infrotn of the museum. With my bag-o-dinotopia goodies in hand. I spent a lot of money there! And came out with a stuffed animal, some CD's and a poster. And this my fine friends is a picture of the original Habitat Partners, that my father almost got himself kicked out of the museum for taking. I found the entire scenario rather funny. Well thats it, in a nut-shell. My trip to Niagra Falls. Hope you enjoyed my loverly pictures, and didn't miss me too much. And now I finally know why Mr. Gurney went to Niagra Falls for inspiration for Waterfall City, it is most amazing!

Nice pics!! I know its a time of many picture postings but I'm still not about to post pictures of myself on the net... I'll describe myself instead. I'm 5'2, in the heallthy weight-height, I wear glasses and my messy brown hair is proof of the increasing entropy of the universe. It looks like ==> but my skin isn't yellow (unless I get hepatitis) and my eyes are brown. Contrary to popular belief I do not run around in a white coat full of acid holes while laughing maniacally... Well... Not veryoften anyway. Instead I like to dress like a normal girl so I can blend in and nobody suspects me of anything.

I know what ya mean there Vorchia. I'm the same way.
Nice pics Sil. I always wanted to go to Niagara Falls. Maybe some year I'll get there.
But now, I prefer going back to the beach. I love the beach. Lets just say if I lived in Myrtle Beach SC. I would be on the beach 24/7 and not on here. There is something about the beach makes me feel good. Is it the water… or the sand… the atmosphere… Who knows. I just love it. And I miss it. Now I'm stuck up here in PA watching the beach cams on the computer. ;D

WB and I love the pics! They are absolutely gorgeous pics of the waterfalls. I have never actually seen waterfalls with my own eyes but now I feel like I kinda have. Thanks so much for sharing though I extremely jealous that you got to see the Dinotopia exhibit! How cool is that. Anyway, yes, you were missed so now you have to join back in the fun and start helping us drive the world insane one Dinotopia fan at a time!

Those are great pictures of Niagara Falls, Sil! Did you ride one of the boats that take you up to the base of the falls? Did you go behind the falls or get to ride in one of those things that go over the falls? When I went, I road the boat to the falls and went in the halls that go behind the falls. Took tons of pictures too and then later painted a picture of the horshoe falls. If you want to see the painting, I have it posted in the the Haven of the Muses under the Encounter in the Hadro Swamps thread, but it isn't half as beautiful as your photographs. *stares dreamily into space* maybe someday I'll get an opportunity to see Mr. James Gurney's artwork at the museum.

I did go onto the Maid of the Mist (the boat that goes next to the falls.) But we forgot my sisters ID, so we couldn't go over to Canada and go underneath the falls. But it was fun anyways.

Hey, Sil! Glad to hear you made it back safely and had a wonderful vacation=) And I'm especially glad you were able to see the exhibit at the NRM! I'm sorry your Dad almost got kicked out; we had to have special permission to photograph the exhibit after the museum closed at the Stomp. I'll see about getting those pictures up sometime soon;)
*grins* I know what you mean about spending a lot of money at the museum gift shop! I bought a framed Dinosaur Blvd. print, three puzzles (would have been four if they'd had the fourth), lots of postcards, and some other small things. Yes, I spent over $250 in the givt shop>_< My credit card is still hurting from that. But I love my print!

Hi! Ever been UNDER the falls? I took the tour about 25 years ago (Yes, I'm o.l.d.! LOL!), and it was the wettest, wildest time I had. We went to three openings behind the falls, and I nearly got sucked out of one of them! :surrender: Good thing they put up grates so no one can! (Towels and raincoats are included, by the way! LOL!)
