To make more humans. That is the reason for life. Science: It's wonderful and illuminating but its harsh light kills the beauty of the unknown.

If it's strictly from a biological point of view, then Stiletto's right. However, I for one don't see things strictly from a biological point of view. Triceracops, I see you have the motto "there is no fate, but what what we make for ourselfs" in your profile. Just apply this to the meaning of life as well. It's what you make of it. In my opinion, you'd be better off with a diversity of view points in order to prevent you from looking at things too narrowly. You can start here for some basic viewpoints. You can branch out from there. Remember, you can justify anything by sticking to a specific code of morality or disposition. That way lies the path of insanity. It's always good to be able to look from various angles and positions and be fluid and adaptable in your outlook if you want to be a sane person. - Aric

By the way Triceracops, this should be in the theology/philosophy forum, and not the scientific one. I'm tempted to smite you again, though I'm not sure if it'll do any good.
