I think it's funny the way he complains that the media is distorting his words. How many ways can you interpret "taking out" someone? In my experience, that means to either kill them or take them out on a date. I doubt he means the second one. He's just backpedalling after the gigantic crap storm he caused by shooting his mouth off without thinking.

When you have religeous leaders calling for assassinations, you know something big will follow. Apparently, he thought that "big thing" was going to be some sort of move against Chavez. I wonder if it ever occurred to that self-righteous mind of his that it would be a gigantic media scandal with him at the epicenter. - Aric
