I should have posted this much earlier, but I kept putting it off posting it at the temple, so here it is now.
On June 3rd, which was the first day of summer vacation, our oldest female dachshund gave birth to two female puppies via c-section. Because of the problems that occured with the first litter, namely the size of one puppy caused it to get lodged in the birth canal and the Veterinary hospital being closed, we planned ahead to have them born via c-section and at the time time scheduled for her to be fixed. Though we won't be able to keep the two puppies because of the fact that we already have more than enough dogs we have named the largest one Hannah and the smallest one Abbie. While we've already found a great home for one of them and I'm sure we'll find an great home for the other, I'm still going to miss them horribly, and I still don't know how the other dogs will deal with it.

*sniffles* Dauschie puppies... I wish I could say I'd take the other one, but we seriously don't have the time one would deserve.

Thanks Azzie, I know we'll find a good home, the home we found for the one we named Hannah sounds really good, the woman is going to take the dog to her work where she takes care of people who are disabled, which is also what both of my parents do, and she has two kids, a bird, a cat, and a guinea pig, and they say the cat plays with the local dogs, one of which is a pitt bull. But yeah, one of the main things I'm worried about is that there is more than one person, dachshunds need lots of attention.

Well, true, but think about it this way: If the dachsund makes friends with the other animals as well, he will get tons of attention. More than he'd ever bargained for. He can hang out with the other dog, the cat, the bird, or whatever suits his fancy.

So long as the duchshund learns to get along with the cat. I think becoming friends with the other animals would definitely be good for her. I really like puppies.
They're soooo cuuuuute! :=)

Coool! I like kittens too. They are very cuuuute. My grandmother had a couple of kittens when I was a kid. They grew up too fast though and quickly got to where they just wanted to sleep all day on the couch.

Yes, but I love my kitty, and always will, even if she does get lazy.

Yesterday at around 3:30 pm the person came by to pick up the puppy we named Hannah, they'd already gotten a little doggie bed, lots of toys, a pink collar with a bell, and had scheduled appointments at the Vet for her, she even scheduled a play date for a friends dog to come over and play with her, I know she'll have a good home, but I'll miss her. They dogs seem to be taking it well, but for a few minutes after she left I sat down and was on the verge of crying.
