Hi everyone,
This afternoon, during rushhour things got quite interesting at Eindhoven Centraal trainstation. When my train arrived I naturally tried to go to the buses, only to find that part of the station had been closed off by the police. Apparently some guy got into a bus, dropped a bag at the entrance and the exit of the bus then left the bus again. The busdriver thought this interesting and called the police. I haven't heard any explosions and will assume its false alarm but if anything decides to explode after all: I AM NOT in the trainstation. Lets hope its just some sick idiot's 9-11 anniversary joke and nothing real.

That's terrible! You did the right thing by getting out of there as fast as you did. I actually left campus one day when there was a bomb threat. The threat said that the bomb would go off at noon and I had class at noon in the building connected to the cafeteria. If I was going to plant a bomb somewhere to go off at noon, I'd do it where the most people would be. Yes, I had an unexcused absense for the class and nothing happened, but I wasn't taking any chances!
Have you heard anything on the news about it, or is that the end of it? I'm curious!

It was false alarm, predictably. The guy who placed the bags is on security tape (the newer buses have cameras, how stupid are you if you place suspicious bags in a bus with cameras then run off? EVERYONE knows the newer, white buses have camera's and the older, bright yellow ones don't, idiot...) However there were a lot of cops at the trainstation today as a precaution.
